. (12/2017) A beautiful park with dedicated sections for walk, exercise and sports. Well maintained walkways. Nice views. This park is dog friendly. Good place for organising small sports events. There are multiple entrances to this park from different directions. Street parking is available at most of the entrances. There is big parking area at main entrance. Ample parking space including wheelchair parking enough to accommodate vehicles for an event although finding parking location might be little tricky. Wheelchair accessible entrance. I drive past a bunch of times every day and still can't see why it needs a review but I am writing one anyway. im not sure if this park includes the skatepark or if it's just the large green flatness near the skatepark. it seems to be a large regularly mown grassed area running alongside portage rd new lynn. there's a football ground and stadia of some type and practice of various sports occur every week. this is all I have...

Its a spare Rugby field. Situated out at Greenbay area. Access to park car at goal end of field. Then short walk to sideline. The tree lined edge of the field was pretty to look at in this Autumn season. A couple of seats for public use. Very busy main road, not good for children & animals with cars parked on the verges.
