ACCouncil really need to get onto cleaning up their reserves. Here, there are very dead, downed trees still sitting at the waters edge from a long ago slip. Weeds, rubbish, dumped by good for nothing locals on the drive in. Other reserves visited in many areas, especially in low socio economic areas, need maybe teams of ticketed boy racers, young ram raiders, addicts, 'non payment of ticket' individuals etc, to get out and fill their wkends with actual labour, watched over by local police. Read moreI recently visited Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve and was thoroughly impressed with the small and lovely setting. The facilities were excellent, including a playground, safe beach, and plenty of sand and grass areas.

Overall, I had a great experience at Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve and will definitely be returning...
