Gittos Domain — Attraction in Whau

. (01/2018) A beautiful domain located next to Blockhouse Bay Beach Reserve and can be easily missed due to very small entrance from the Blockhouse Bay Road. Other entrance to this domain is little remote and opens from near the Blockhouse Bay Primary School. A detailed description of domain and walkways is provided on the boards at both entrances which leads you all the way to Green Bay and Craigavon Park. The domain is well maintained and walkways are quite clear and without much obstacles or fallen tree branches. It was visited just one day after a big storm passed Auckland in the new year. Awesome views of beaches at different points during the walk in this domain. Seating and benches are provided at regular distances for taking rest and enjoying the views. Lot of viewpoints with dedicated viewing areas and seats can be found during walk in this park. There is no dedicated parking area available for this location although ample street parking can be found around the entrances. Could not spot any public restrooms in plain view at...
