We did the mountain bike tour with Mikel and it was awesome. It was just the two of us on the tour which was excellent. My bike has some computer difficulties at the beginning so Mikel swapped with me which worked out great… for me! 😜 Bikes are really good (when the computer works), terrain is beautiful and there are easy parts and trickier parts but the whole thing is loads of fun. Mikel is only 18 years old but very smart, articulate and knowledgeable. He was an excellent guide and I would recommend this to anyone passing through Voss or staying in Bergen. PS: Mikel’s recommendation for lunch was amazing also (Ditt & Datt)

English Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rafting experience in Voss was absolutely amazing! Everything was well organized from start to finish, full of excitement and fun. A big thank you to our captain Minis for his professionalism and great spirit. He made us feel safe while also making the adventure super enjoyable. Very friendly and funny, and his clear instructions helped us enjoy the trip with confidence. I highly recommend trying rafting in Voss with this team, especially with Captain Minis 🙌🚣‍♂️

We had a MTB tour for two to three hours, It's a great way to see the place and enjoy some quality E-Bikes with a great tour guide. Mikkel Landro was great and showed us some great spots. Don't miss out on this one.

Our recent white water rafting adventure with Outdoor Norway was nothing short of outstanding. We took part in the Grade 3 rafting experience and were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, safety standards, and overall enjoyment of the activity.

As a couple, we shared a raft with two other couples, and the group dynamic worked out perfectly. It created a fun and friendly atmosphere, where everyone was supportive and excited to take on the rapids together. It was a great way to connect with others while sharing a thrilling experience.

From the very beginning, Outdoor Norway made sure we felt safe and well-informed. The safety briefing was clear, comprehensive, and reassuring, with every detail explained carefully to ensure that everyone understood the procedures and felt comfortable before setting off. Their focus on safety gave us complete confidence throughout the journey.

Our guide, Anil, was absolutely fantastic. His calm professionalism combined with a great sense of humor made him the ideal guide for this kind of adventure. He handled the raft with impressive skill and gave clear instructions, while also keeping the mood light and fun. Thanks to Anil, we felt both safe and thoroughly entertained the entire way.

The rafting itself struck the perfect balance between excitement and challenge, with breathtaking natural surroundings making the experience even more special. Whether we were paddling through exhilarating rapids or drifting through serene stretches, it was an unforgettable journey from start to finish.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us — exciting, safe, well-organized, and full of positive energy. We wholeheartedly recommend Outdoor Norway, and especially Anil, to anyone looking for a memorable outdoor...

I have worked as an outdoor guide in the US for 20 years. I was excited to try outdoor activities in Norway, and Voss in particular, but perhaps my standards are too high, as I left feeling disappointed. Outdoor Norway does okay in some areas, but you should proceed with caution. They have good gear, and they seem to be organized, but they were very inflexible with our group, they are unhelpful to those who rent (and don't use their guides), and they misrepresent some of their outings.

In particular, while it seems their water activities are popular, I strongly do NOT recommend mountain biking. If you ride MTB much, you will be disappointed in their local network of trails. It's alot of gravel farm roads and cutting through fields on the way up. The downhill is incredibly rough with roots, and the features such as turns and jumps are poorly constructed. They misrepresent these trails on their website, both in the description and the photos they post. These people need to visit some other well-known trails of the world to see how it's done properly.

After spending good money to rent bikes, the employee seemed angry that we didn't hire a guide (even though we tried), and they would not help us much with trails. We wasted valuable rental time trying to find our way around. Super frustrating.

Take home message: If you are an average tourist, you'll probably be happy. If you are more experienced, you may not be happy. If you want to ride intermediate or advanced MTB, I do not recommend it. Everyone should proceed...

I booked this before I did any research and found out that August is cold and rainy in Norway and the starting point was an hour and a half away from Bergen where we were staying. Due to their flexible cancel plans, I was very tempted to cancel the excursion. Fortunately, I did not. The train, while a little pricy, made for an easy mode of transportation to get to the starting point - it was a 5 minute walk from the Voss station to where the white water rafting began. The train got us there at 1:50 and we were scheduled to start at 2. We were a few minutes late, but they have clearly factored in a little flexibility time. They suited us up in wetsuits and jackets - so even this Florida girl wasn’t cold. My only issue would be the changing room offers no privacy- all the females @20 of us all had to change together in one room at the same time and the door did not shut properly. Mohan was our guide…. He clearly was the leader of the groups. We were glad he was our guide- once he saw that we were comfortable on the boat- he allowed for some flexibility with us. Some of our group jumped into the water during the calmer parts and moving positions on the boat. We ended up doing 2 smaller runs due to water conditions. He made sure to maximize the thrills throughout the ride. We all had a great time and no one complained about the cold. Five stars for the...
