Fab little resort just an hour or so train ride out of Bergen. Super convenient as the train stops at the gondola station. Ski hire and ski lessons available at the top of the gondola. All staff were so very helpful especially Alex and his crew. Gabby was a great instructor for my daughter, really helped.
All the people there, staff and guests were so calm and friendly. Never been to a resort like it.
Snow and slopes were amazing - some of the best snow I've ever skied on, and no crowds whatsoever. At times we had the slopes to ourselves. Had a go at night skiing under lights which they do Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
I went with two of my kids, neither of whom are advanced skiers and the slopes and variety were perfect for them. Although it should be noted that the ski runs are not extensive and more advanced skiers might soon run out of interest.
The restaurant at the top of the gondola was very good. Swift, friendly service with decent food and a great app if you want to use it. Prices are not cheap but if you compare them to places in the French Alps for instance, they aren't that bad.
All in all we had a wonderful holiday....
Read moreIt is our first visit to this resort, and although i don't ski neither my son is a good skier but normally in Sierra Nevada ski resort in Spain families can hangout with kids board or a small tools to be in the snow to play with snow, it is everyone can enjoy. For me, is quite disappointing knowing that coming there all way from Bergen with train and Gondol is really costly, and we felt a complete lost being up there and can't enjoy. There are no kids rides where you pay and they can have fun and or organise activities where easy for a child to join the group activities, and or areas where families can sit together and maybe with snowboard or small tools to play the snow. My son and i were really...
