If the sun is out and you're not here, you're missing out! One of my all-time favourite spots in Wellington. Great for a swim in January-February when the water is warmer than usual. Lifeguards are stationed there in summer so it's a great place to take the family. There's a playground on one side of the bay for younger kids. Some good food and drink options nearby as well- Beach Babylon is a classic!

In the grand scheme of beach’s not that exciting! But compared to other beaches in the Wellington region amazing! In summer it is always full, and it’s a great local place for wellingtonians. There is a dairy and place to get ice creams across the road. There is a three beaches to choose from, the first having a park which the kids can play on. Great family day out.

I stumbled upon this pristine white beach, and finally I've found it in here. I summoned the courage to take a dip, which is unplanned to do, and it was an enchanting experience. The gentle waves embraced me, adding to the magic. A definite must-do when you visit!
