Zara Shahjahan MANZIL — Attraction in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

Used Zara Shahjahan for my nikkah outfit. If you're an overseas customer I DO NOT recommend Zara Shahjahan at all - particularly for something like a bridal which needs attention to detail, professionalism and good customer service.

1. Customer Service is terrible. I received my dress the week of my Nikkah despite requesting it arrive earlier. On arrival they sent the wrong type of underslip for the dress and the sleeves were extremely small, so that I could not get my arms in the dress and actually wear the dress. I had to find a local bridal tailor to make the dress wearable, even then the sleeves were unbuttoned and opened on the day.

2. Despite their colossal error, they treated us so rudely when we finally flew back to Pakistan months later to arrange to get it fixed. They also promised us a complimentary dress as compensation which we also never received.

3. Beautiful designs, but if you're going to cater to a western market, you need to be ready to actually provide the professionalism and customer service western customers expect - especially for a bridal service. As an overseas bride, this was truly the best experience I’ve had with a designer, all thanks to Fahad and his amazing team, especially Neha.

From the moment we entered, they were so warm and welcoming. Fahad accommodated my request for a dress in a different color, and when I saw the final result, it exceeded all my expectations. The kiran he sourced for the dupatta was of such beautiful quality, the tassels looked stunning, and they even created a matching pocket square for my fiancé. The designer also added a few extra colored beads that completely uplifted the entire look — thoughtful touches I hadn’t even imagined because, as a bride, you barely have the bandwidth for details like that. But Fahad took care of every single thing.

During the fitting, Neha made me feel so comfortable and genuinely cared for. This is one of the few designers where I truly felt I got the complete bridal experience.

I ordered my bridal lengha from Muhammad Waqas, (I came from the UK) from the moment we met to the final day when I picked up my dress the service from his was amazing! He knows so much about the clothes, material, stitching, every small detail Muhammad waqas knew about. My mum who is a great seamstress was so happy with the way we were treated and he answered every single question my mum had (even down to the number of beads to be used in each flower embroidery piece).

Waqas catered to my needs and budget and gave me options to allow me to get the dress of my dreams within my budget. He also gave me a complimentary potli bag and hijab (which I never asked for - it was dyed to the exact colour of my outfit).

If you're looking for a bridal outfit I would highly recommend Zara shahjahan such a stress free experience. It is pricier than others however it was worth every penny!
