25/11/2023. As an always 24/7 hungry lahori. I went to spice bazar for family dinner.. This was my 2nd visit.. On 1st visit I tried their Hi-Tea Menu which was good( solid8/10). Back to my 2nd visit. i tried their Khayber Platter (6999) and Spice Bazar Platter (3999) and chicken karahi(2800).. U guys might be thinking that chicken karachi would be served around 800grams or 1 kg for this price.. well folks it comes in 2 person serving only. Meaning 5-7 botiyan in a little karahi. The taste was above average, a solid 7/10 on a good day.. Only 2 people can eat that karahi.. Now.. Spice Bazar Platter can be eaten by only 2-3 people (2 people if they're men, 3 if they're women). The platter was good. It had all chicken & fish related stuff. i would give that platter a solid 8/10.. Lastly.. Khyber Platter.. It has kabuli pulao, lamb ribs, Chapli kabab and a bit of mutton chops.. Its horrible.. Pulao was too sweet. Rice quality was mediocre. We lahoris have a special bond with khilay khilay lambay chawal and can recognise good quality chawal anywhere.. their chawal ki quality was okay nothing special. Chapli kebabs were below average (3/10). Lamb ribs were too chewy (4/10) mutton chops were (5/10). Only thing good in kabuli pulao was the botiyan in pulao.. good naram poli poli botiyan.. soo yupp.. final verdict is.. Karahi's quantity was too low.. Spice Bazar Chicken Platter was good (Recommended) and Khayber platter was a waste of money.. if you're 5-7 person and want to dine in.. Try their Hi-Tea or buffet and thank me later.. Cause hamara total bill with chai and drinks and khana was around 17,000 to i would suggest k ap hi-tea or buffet try kr lein or mujhe duain de apkay paisay bachanay k liye.. Note: Being an authentic Bhoka Lahori. Chicken, Beef and Mutton mein dil khol kr khata ho ye jaantay hwe bhi k agr aisay he chalta rha tou kisi din mera dil khul jana ha operation say.. Allah khair karay k aisa na ho.. Baqi pics attach han quantity khudi nazar aa jaye...
Read moreHad Iftar Buffet at spice bazaar today 4795rs plus tax. Card charges about 5000 per person almost. Cash is higher. So let's get down to the food. It was great tbh. Mutton dishes were their highlight the mutton chops, whole lamb with rice and mutton kata kat were all great. There was mutton hareesa too but couldn't taste it sadly due to no space in belly. Apart from these the salad bar was very good usually buffet places have salad bar but no taste but spice bazaar had good salad from Channas to pasta all good taste. Now the iftar bit. They had samosas, fries, dhaka chicken, fried fish, and a few more stuff including fruit chaat and dahi bhallay for iftar opening. Had the fried fish which was again good and the fruit chaat. Now coming down to the bad bit which made me give this place a 3 star. Now before iftar was due they filled a single glass of shikanjbeen and i was with guests who came a little late i was busy entertaining them while paying no attention to the food at first 15mins past iftar i requested a second serving of shikanjbeen which i was told it had been finished. I was than forced to order drinks like coke sprite etc which i do not take during iftar so got a water bottle instead. I had seen people having 2 to 3 glasses of each shikanjbeen or roof afza or their badami milk but for me a second serving was a straight no from the server. Secondly the servers again were too fast on picking up the plates on the table even half full the servers just swoop on and pick them up had to let them know to please wait a bit before finishing to finally pick them up. The whole server thing needs a bit of an improvement imo the hospitality at this place really needs to up their game. If they are charging premium buffet rates and giving good food alone is not enough. Good hospitality and etiquette are...
Read moreThe iftari’s were too crowded. Menu seemed fine but to actually get the food one had to navigate the crowd. A lot of hassle. This is no fine dining experience. The table settings were packed up like sardines. Walking spaces were too narrow. Champs and barbecue looked precooked and found served cold and burned mostly 😕. Atmosphere and ambience was hot and Air cons were set at 26’C. I would rate this restaurant seriously overpriced and overrated for buffets.

It's a good place to have a buffet, they have a great combination of dishes starting from the desi dishes till fast food. They also have a separate corner for sweet lovers along with a salad bar. The price is pretty much reasonable considering the level of service and quality food they offering.
Very Good Location. Got big parking. The vibe and ambiance is modern. Staff and Service Amis very good. Huge Veriety of Desi and International Dishes and Desserts on the menu. One of the Best High Tea in Lahore. A must try for Family and Friends. Good choice for Office meetings and Occasions like Birthdays etc. Highly...
