⚠ WARNING ⚠ I recently planned a dinner at Shehansha Sajji, a place I had heard much about, with a group of friends visiting from Dubai. Our expectations were high, given the restaurant’s reputation, and we were all looking forward to a delightful culinary experience. However, our anticipation quickly turned to disappointment as we navigated through our dining experience.
First Impressions: Upon arrival, the ambiance of the restaurant initially met our expectations. The decor and setting promised a high-quality dining experience, and we were eager to dive into the menu. However, as we started to order, we were taken aback by the prices listed. Expecting premium quality and generous portions, we proceeded despite our initial reservations about the cost.
Pricing vs. Portion Size: As the dishes started arriving, our initial concerns about the prices were amplified. The portion sizes were startlingly small compared to the high prices we were paying. We understand that fine dining often comes with a premium, but there’s a certain expectation of quantity and quality that needs to be met, which, in this case, was not.
Experience for Overseas Guests: The experience was particularly embarrassing as I had guests from Dubai, who were excited to experience local cuisine at its best. It was disheartening to see their enthusiasm fade as they realized the disparity between the value and the cost. A dining experience is not just about the food but also about the memories created around the table, and unfortunately, the latter was overshadowed by the feeling of disappointment.
Service and Atmosphere: While the service staff was polite and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, it wasn’t enough to offset the overarching issues with the pricing and portions. Good service and ambiance are integral parts of a dining experience, but they cannot stand alone when the core - the food - is lacking.
Constructive Feedback for Improvement: My intention behind this detailed review is not to discredit Shehansha Sajji but to provide constructive feedback. Adjustments in the pricing strategy or improvements in portion sizes could greatly enhance the overall customer experience. There’s a delicate balance between price, quantity, and quality, and finding this equilibrium is key to customer satisfaction.
Final Thoughts: In conclusion, our experience at Shehansha Sajji was underwhelming, predominantly due to the mismatch between the high prices and the low quantity of food. While the restaurant has potential, significant improvements are needed to align the dining experience with customer expectations, especially when hosting guests from abroad. We left with a sense of dissatisfaction, hoping that our feedback contributes to a better experience for...
Read moreI went to this place because Adeel Chaudhary recommended it, and it was really good. The parking was good, and Lahore Parking Company was there for security. The entrance looked cool with fairy lights. Inside, the restaurant is big and looks amazing. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, so it's good for families.
The staff is nice, and the prices are okay. But what makes this place awesome is the food. The Sajji is the best I've had in Lahore – the meat is so tender, and the rice tastes great. The spices are tasty too. Don't miss their Makhni dishes; they're really good, especially with the gravy.
Overall, if you love barbecue and Sajji, I highly recommend this place. It went beyond my expectations, and I think it's a great spot for people who enjoy delicious food and a nice...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shehshah Grill & Sajji, and I must say, it was a truly regal experience!
We ordered the Sajji, Makhni Tikka, and Makhni Chicken Seekh Kebab. Each dish was expertly prepared, boasting authentic flavors. The Sajji was tender and juicy, while the Makhni Tikka and Seekh Kebab melted in our mouths.
What truly sets Shahenshah Grill & Sajji apart, however, is the unique experience they offer.
We were served complimentary gulab jamuns when we ordered kehwa. That was a nice gesture.
To top it all off, the prices at Shehshah Grill & Sajji are extremely reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food.
