The Pakistan Army Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in history and patriotism. It beautifully showcases Pakistan’s military journey since independence, with an impressive collection of artifacts, from military vehicles and weapons to personal belongings of shuhada (martyrs). Each exhibit tells a powerful story of courage and sacrifice. The museum is vast, and a full visit can take 3 to 4 hours, but it’s worth every moment. Guided tours by knowledgeable staff make the experience even more enriching, bringing history to life with detailed explanations. From tanks and fighter planes to indoor displays filled with historical treasures, the museum offers something for everyone. It’s an inspiring and humbling tribute to our armed forces. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place. They have some of the antiques in collection like Maj Shabbir sharif's Triumph Thunderbird bike, Major Mohammed Akram's vespa scooter and Major Raja Aziz Bhatti's motorcycle. Other than these, the worth watching items are the official car used by the then Commander-in-Chiefs like Filed Marshal Ayub Khan, Gen. Musa Khan and Gen. Yahya Khan. And the preserve ceremonial uniforms of famous army personnel and chiefs of the past as well. Cleanliness, ambience and management are of top quality in typical army administrative fashion. Great place to visit with family.

Review from my younger son Ali Omer

It was a wonderful place l've ever seen . There were soo many tanks and guns. There was a room where there were an environment of snowy mountains and can any of us imagine to go in real life and if you are alone? . This room was showing the environment of Siqchin Glacier with our army models in snow uniforms. There was conference room where there was a big TV. There was a room where it feels like you are in a battle feild . The one who gave us guiding tour was Army Captain . He was very intelligent. He showed us all the rooms with arms and ammunition, some battle fields and also very informative rooms of Indo Pak wars. There was also a special room of Nishan e Haider Shuhadaas comprising of their lifestyles and their achievements in wars and their things to inspire us. There was a Quaid-Azam's car and he used to ride in it. There were some small airplanes of our army . There was a ginormous plane and a helicopter hanging on the roof. There was a big drone which looked like a small plane . A large number of our army and their enemies model were present there. There was a statue of our leader and our founder Quaid-Azam giving a speech . It is near CSD in Rawalpindi . I am a lucky person to go there . And i also am going to join army and fight against our enemies and i am very proud to be a Pakistani. I thank Allah for giving me such a brave and caring country...

Army Museum This Army Museum is one of the state of the art project. It is maintained in supervision of Armed Forces. It will give you glimpse of our war antiquity and historical events. This place is open for general public only on Sunday. Overall, whole edifice is divided into various halls. With each hall denoting particular military or warfare history. In addition, different regiments with their particular uniforms, badges and others are also displayed. The best thing about this army museum is the replica of underground system to control missiles. That is a must go place in this museum. It is such an exclusive and unimaginable experience. Iconic display of our military assets including weapons, vehicles, equipment and several other. It also displayed antique articles like Shuhdas’ uniforms, hand grenades, tank pieces and several others with complete background history. The Wax statues are other attractions that brings you back to those times. Furthermore, it also presents interesting collection dating from prehistoric times. Items include rifles, swords (including some Turkish ones), Stone Age hand-axes, a former Russian missile system and, rather oddly, an Australian harpoon as well. Usually, you are accompanied by a person who will guide you throughout the visit. Don’t forget to follow timings when...
