Okay so this time my stop was at PC Marcopolo. Located in the heart of city, mall road, PC has it's own attraction. Well like every place has some short comings, this place also has one, yeah they do not have spacious parking but this problem is catered with the valet parking service. Okay so coming back to my visit to Marcopolo. All day munch, a relatively new concept introduced by Marcopolo in twin cities, is worth trying. With the improved food quality and variety of dishes all day munch cater your food cravings. Okay so they really have a lavish menu and it really has variety in it. Last time my experience at their Hi-Tea was pathetic. Literally I m saying it was pthetic and I was like 'mein idhar kia khaoun?'. But this time they amazed me with the variety and quality both. I started with Biryani. It was really nice and spicy. Generally you don't find good biryani but it was pretty good. Chicken boti was nice, well tendered and spices were equally balances. Stuffed shami kebabs were also nice. Spring rolls were extremely delicious but were cold, so this was a small disappointment for me. They tasted extremely good but... Mini beef shashlik with smoky bbq sauce was a nice addition to the menu. The bbq flavored sauce was so good, I can still feel the taste. Seafood newberf with steam rice was the only fail dish. Trust me it was difficult for me to finish few spoons of that dish. Grilled chicken pepper sauce was best, I REPEAT THE BEST. The sauce was so delicious and chicken was so well tendered. Trust me I can eat it for rest of my life. Assorted sauteed veggies are always my favorites. Trust me, no place offer chaat section better than marcopolo. They've got the best paani puri aka gol gappas, dahi bhallay, chana chaat, salads. I'll give 5/5 to chaat section. This is the place you would love if you're a 'meetha fan'. Thr variety and the taste, it's spot on. Highly...
Read moreWent for iftaar buffet. Contrary to PC's reputation food is good menu is also no need for dinner. Especially the deserts, malai boti, pizza and pasta are out of this world while dahi bhale and chana chaat are also quite good. Then a very bad name for PC's management that no matter how many tables you've booked or the number of guests they will charge on one card which is quite low for PC it is PC not some lowly restaurant who'd be squirming over petty cash it is the customer's perogative how they want to pay the bill they want to divide on one card two card or five cards since it is 50% on quite alot of cards so what they do is charge you on just one card because a maximum discount of 5000/ card is applicable so they try to weasel their way out of 50% by charging the entire bill on one card so if your bill is 20000 you will just get 5000 off not 10000 but management should be ashamed on this and they should let the customer's pay as they want to as is their right if the customer has three card he should be allowed to pay the bill from all three if that's how he gets the maximum discount if you've partnered up with someone and given 50% off that too with a upper cap of 5000 then you should let the customer's pay with multiple cards if they want to don't destroy PC's repute by...
Read moreWanted to come for their dinner buffer. Coincidentally, it was Christmas Eve, so this was a special dinner.
The pumpkin soup, roasted duck, and rabbit stew were a welcome change from normal dinner dishes and were all delicious! There was an entire roasted turkey as well, but it didn't taste as well as it looked. The desi dishes like biryani and beef qeema were TOP notch.
There was an entire bread section with many different types - both salty and sweet. All were baked fresh and were extremely enjoyable with just plain butter.
The salad section was so different than any other I have seen before, I don't even know the names of half the stuff 😅 Along with salads, there were different types of cheeses with olives, smoke beef etc.
Overall, it was a great experience! However, the dessert section seriously needs improvement. No one in our party of 5 could even name one dessert. It was certainly different, but because it was TOO different, it ended up with us either not getting any dessert or wasting the ones we did get because we didn't know...
