I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dhaba da Baltistan, and it was truly an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, the hotel's warm hospitality, stunning location, and impeccable service left a lasting impression on me.

This restaurant is fooling people with so called gilgiti dishes none of the dishes were even close to the authentic taste we had in gilgit. Even if we say we don't get that taste in pindi then they should not mention or explain it like its authentic food. Not only that the guy on reception had alot of attitude and being a customer I was having some conversation with him but he was so much engaged in his phone he don't gives a shit about retaining a consumer. We ordered for dine in and takeaway and just for 6 dumplings it took them 30 minutes to serve and to my surprise that food was not fresh. I have been eating dumplings from my childhood in gilgit I know the difference between fresh and stale food. They still neglected and said its fresh food. This is not authentic restaurant. The food was reasonably good, but excellent for the price.

They don't have much waiters, so service was a bit slow.

However, since the weather was cold and being an open air roof top restaurant , upon asking if they had any arrangements for heaters, to which they first apologized, but then to my surprise, they arranged for a small bonfire to keep my family warm which I really appreciated and was very much impressed.

The food ordered was chowmein, pad Thai, hot and sour soup and chicken momos. For taste was above average and good for the price.

Rs 600 for each dish and was more than enough for a family of 5.

Overall bill was 2400 plus 100 for large water

Will definitely visit again

Ps there are many flight of stairs inorder to reach the restaurant.
