I had never heard of this hotel until my wife found it on Agoda. Baguio was the last stop on our long vacation in the northern Philippines. While it’s not our first time visiting Baguio—we come here two to five times a year—we usually stay in hotels away from the city’s busy areas. This was a last-minute booking, and we managed to get a very reasonable price on Agoda, even during peak season.||We almost canceled our trip to Baguio because of the influx of tourists visiting for the Christmas holidays. However, since we were already staying in La Union, taking Naguilian Road was the perfect route for us to get to Baguio. Surprisingly, there was no traffic on Christmas Day, and it took us less than two hours to reach the hotel.||One of the great things about this hotel is its connection to smaller inner roads, which help you avoid the busy streets of the city. However, the parking area is steep and elevated, which might be challenging for less powerful vehicles. The space is also limited, so you’ll need to be cautious if you’re driving a bigger vehicle. Fortunately, we were able to secure a parking spot (first-come, first-served).||The lobby is located upstairs, so you’ll need to use either the elevator or the stairs to reach it. Check-in was quick, but the lobby itself was not particularly impressive. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant on-site, and the building’s façade features high ceilings.||We stayed in a room facing a residential area, which offered a beautiful view. Everything in the room worked well. Note that air conditioning is not included in the standard fee—you’ll need to request it and pay an additional charge. However, considering that Baguio’s temperature was below 20°C at the time, the electric fan provided in the room was more than enough to keep us cool.||The Wi-Fi could use some improvement, but the phone signal was excellent, so we relied on our mobile data. The hot water system worked perfectly without any interruptions, making showers enjoyable. The toiletries were complete, except for a rag or bath mat, which we had to request separately—but this was promptly provided.||The room’s spacious balcony quickly became our favorite spot. Our kids loved it, especially when a nearby house put on a fireworks display for almost 10 minutes—an epic moment for us!||GrabFood delivery was allowed, which was great since our kids don’t eat Chinese cuisine, so we ordered food from outside without any issues or penalties. Speaking of the Chinese restaurant, their food prices were surprisingly reasonable—the cheapest we’ve seen in the Philippines. While the food was decent, it could use some improvement. It’s not on par with the famous Chinese restaurants in Binondo or other places we’ve tried, but it’s good enough for the price.||We didn’t feel the need to go out much since it was Christmas, and the roads were crowded with people, making traffic a major issue for most travelers. Although Burnham Park was just a short walk from the hotel, we decided to stay in. The kids’ playroom was fully occupied, so we chose to relax in our room instead. After our long trip from the North, the kids appreciated the chance to rest.||Check-out was smooth and hassle-free. Leaving the hotel and heading to Marcos Highway took just a minute, making our departure convenient.||Overall, this is a good hotel in Baguio.
