Whether you're seeking a serene paddle across the lake in a swan boat or simply want to soak up the tranquil atmosphere from a park bench, Burnham Lake offers a blissful escape in Baguio. It's a must-visit for everyone! Renting a boat is incredibly affordable (only P200!), and with no time limit, you can truly lose yourself in the moment. The cool breeze and stunning mountain backdrop add to the magic, and the convenient food stalls nearby make it easy to spend a whole afternoon here. Trust me, Burnham Lake will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!

The lake at Burnham Park was carved out of a watering hole for cattle during the early days of Baguio or period of Kafagway. Architect Daniel Burnham included it to heighten his design of the city as a rest and recreation destination for battle tested and weary American soldiers needing rejuvenation. Well, it is now part of Baguio’s center of attraction that offers boat riding to visitors. Also, a lot of creative activities already happened at the lake like. Fluvial rendition of Phantom of the Opera and a DOT led fluvial parade.

The boats here are rented normally by the hour. I believe you can go as far at 6 people in the boat and there really is no best time to rent a boat - but best to go in a group. Nice to even bring your own food, and eat it while doing the boat ride. Note: MASSAGES also done but discreetly and at the sides of the park under the trees. According to the masseuse (all females) - the guards chase them away as it's not supposed to be done. I'd say it's generally tolerated but why not support people if you can?

Watched the fireworks display at the Burnham Lake and it was awesome. Aside from a nice spot to watch the annual fireworks display, the Burnham lake is also a perfect place to relax as you watch the boats or you can also have fun by riding a boat and navigate around this man-made lake.

A fun in a pond experience...the water looks dirty though...the guide said they will only replace the water every 20years...that explains why... #LetsGuide

I love it when the cold breeze blew our hair while paddling in the Burnham Lake so majestic.
