First time to visit this water park along with over 8 thousand customers yesterday. Not quite a good experience to be in a crowded resort. Although the slides were awesome, the fun was outweighed by long lines. Super crowded.

Because the place is crowded, the water pools are turning brown- dirty. It doesn't have water dippers on pool sides either- to wash off the feet of the people, which makes the pool even dirtier. Water Wahoo Pool smells musty.

During summer, people wanted to cool off, but because the pools were cemented (not tiled) the water in pool gets warmer as the sun strikes the heat.

As for the wave pool, they seem to turn on the waves 3 times in a day only. I really wish they do it every hour.

To enjoy the Balsa River, you must use their floating devices. Unfortunately, the crew were too lenient about letting people keeping the floaters outside the pool/ mostly left on their cottages.

Shower rooms could barely produce water to wash off the Chlorine from your body after your swim. I would say that because of the number of guests, they could not keep up with the cleanliness of the shower rooms either. The drainage systems are clogged too.

You cannot bring food or water because they sell it inside. A small bottle of water costs 40 pesos. To me, there's no justice to prohibit people from bringing in personal water to rehydrate. Hey, it's summer time. The humidity is crazy . The ridiculously priced water made it even more difficult for people to stay hydrated.

The price is too expensive from what I've experienced yesterday. The normal price is 500 pesos per head + water and food you will purchase.

On the plus side, there is a pool slide intended for babies, my little toddler had a chance to experience. You can also enjoy free music treats from a band who sings up to date songs over few hours on mid day. There are new stuff too-- Wall Climbing, Zip Line, and a 3D photo area.

Perhaps the experience would be different during off season. Given the number of crowd into considerstion, for a water park aiming to be great-- they should've at least work on their services and prepare for buffers to accommodate a huge crowd better.

Overall experience is not too pleasant. But I am thankful that God allowed me to spend time with love ones and still enjoy...

😕Went here twice for the last year and the swimming experience is okay. For the price point of 599 for night swimming it wasn’t worth it, since the giant slides opens at certain time slots only and most of it closes at 2.30 pm and one slide closes at 4pm, so for the remainder of your stay it will be just a regular swimming, no more activities. So nope, it wasn’t worth it for that, maybe start your “waterpark” experience in the morning and plan your giant slides accordingly if you want to make the most out of your experience.

😕You can tell that The Waterpark is decades old, manage your expectations. It can be level with the public resorts in Pansol, appearance-wise.

there is no free parking for guests. Parking is P50 it is cheap and very affordable

😡😡But the parking attendants are so RUDE. My family and I came in 2 vehicles. We arrived earlier than the other vehicle, we parked and immediately the parking attendant came and charging us for the fee. We explained that the vehicle we are on will just drop us off once the rest of the family arrive and that they were just a few minutes behind us then after that the car we are on will leave. But they did not allow that and told us that if that car will only do drop off, it should just go to drop off area and we should wait at the gate for the rest of our group. But it was so hot outside and we didn’t want to stand and wait outside the car. So we just left the parking spot and drove around until the rest of the group arrive.

When our group was complete we drove again towards the entrance and before we even get on the ramp to drop off area one guy is already walking beside the car and knocking on the window asking for the parking fee! I was furious. I told that guy that we will only do drop off as I told them earlier then we went on the ramp after dropping us off our car left then the parking attendant shouted at us and asking rudely with a mad expression on his face “is he going to park?!” I told him “ I told you for the third time he will only do a drop off and you can literally see him driving away!”

😡😡😡 That wasn’t a good way to start our day at splash island I’ll...

Splash Island is known to be affordable but affordability comes with a price. Expect the place to not be thoroughly maintained. Despite the amount of staff, the establishment is still unclean. There were spiders in the women's shower room. The slides and pools are also a major health concern because of the noticeable amount of rust and algae. The pool is likewise discolored with a hint of green. There are mosquitoes as well so be reminded to use a mosquito repellant. Considering that people of all ages frequent the establishment they should take a more serious approach when it comes to the health and safety of its patrons. There should be a deep cleaning of the establishment and maintenance as well.

The entrance fee is fairly reasonable, they often have promos that can be viewed on their Facebook page. Parking is on the actual street which they charge 50 pesos for the whole day. Outside food and drinks are not allowed so people who wishes to eat their own food often eat at the parking lot. Water is allowed. The food in the establishment ranges from 100-300 pesos with a variety to choose from like meat, vegetables, finger food and so on.

The cottages are costly but the lack of cleanliness makes it unworthy. You'd think it would be cleaner considering you paid for it.

Aside from the slides and pool, they offer other activities like mini golf, paintball, rock climbing, zipline and bike line. It ranges from 100-200 pesos. Although the only activity that is worth trying is the zipline and the bike. The paintball and mini golf area is small and not maintained. They also have kayaks and an inflatable obstacle course which is free to use.

The staff are friendly and courteous, often greet customers with a smile. If you look past the other concerns you can actually have a fun and memorable time. I just hope that the owner will take more responsibility and conduct a deep cleaning before something bad happens when it can easily be avoided. The establishment may be old but it does not mean that maintenance should be overlooked.

Please take note: Coupons cannot be used for glamping (22 hours) or the 8am-10pm schedule. They are only applicable for day tours. STORY TIME : Our choice was to spend 22 hours (on a weekend or holiday) in a Tiki hut (air-conditioned hut for 2 people) priced at Php 2,400 (Php 1,200 per person). We arrived at 9:30 in the morning to find the place quite crowded, as it was summer and a holiday. To avoid lunchtime rush, we bought our lunch early at 10:45 am and stored it in our hut. Food prices range from Php 150-200 per person, with group meals available from Php 800-1,500. Remember, the resort doesn't allow outside food or drinks. We brought our own empty aquaflask and purchased a 300ml distilled water for Php 40. Our meal consisted of sinigang from "fiesta sa pulo" (Php 170) and two cups of rice (totaling Php 205). Additionally, my husband bought two sticks of barbecue for Php 60 each. We shared the meal and filled our aquaflask with the Php 40 distilled water. Despite enjoying the water slides, we noticed the balsa river was somewhat dirty, likely due to fallen leaves from nearby plants. The water had a greenish tinge. There were lines for every water activity, but the lifeguards efficiently managed them, providing instructions to participants. As our glamping schedule didn't include food storage in our hut, we found some food stalls closed by 5 pm. We asked the guard for options and learned that overnight guests could order food delivery after 6 pm or even go outside and buy. We opted for Tokyo Tokyo via Food Panda. Keep in mind, water activities are not available during overnight stays, and pool access at night was not checked due to exhaustion. For overnight stays, remember to bring your own towels, toiletries, and blankets, as the resort only provides beds and pillows. The advantage of an overnight stay? You get to relax in a quieter environment without crowds or noisy videoke, and enjoy peaceful mornings for photography.

So sad this waterpark hasn't been managed well. I've been here twice before 2022, and both experiences went well since the waterpark, then, looked well-kept and cleaned, maybe it was because it was newly renovated then lol. But now... Goodness. The shower areas were so dark, old looking, dirty, and smelly, not much food stalls inside plus the only ones they have offer expensive food for their bland quality. Pool water looked like it hasn't been changed for YEARS & smelled strongly of chlorine and other stuff—it was nasty and very itchy on the skin. The sidewalks were covered in dry leaves, and looked like they haven't been swept for a while during our time of visit. The footbaths were so disgusting; I had to carefully pass and step on the sides of the basins to get to the stairs leading the slides. The lifeguards were doing the barest minimum—they don't even check the distances between people who were going down the slides, and just kept on dispatching people on floaters (except Magellan's Drop since it was easily visible from the top)—there was an instance when two people fell off theirs and we almost bumped into them when we were sliding down on one of the slides from Tausug Trails since they were stuck in the middle of the long trail; they don't even monitor anymore if it's already okay to send down another pair, unlike before. And they don't even follow protocols; we saw a group of 5 in one Rio Montañosa floater even though it was only designed to carry three, according to the rules posted on the wall. Overall, the whole place looks unkempt, dirty, lifeless. The huts/cabanas for rent look like they've been through so much and nothing at all at the same time. Will not go back here again not unless they do another mega makeover. It's such a pity since the slides are still enjoyable up to this day despite being in a subpar management. I do not recommend this waterpark. Please go at your own risk.

The water activities are nice and new to me and my family. However, the minute we got here, I feel we are being hostage for cash. I understand that places like this depends on guests buying souvenirs and foods in the park. But in my opinion, bringing personal water should be allowed. The cost of bottled water, 500ml, is 35Php. The options for food are also very limited. My family settled for Hungry Juan roasted chicken that comes with 4 cups of rice, plates and spoon and forks for 400PhP. So if you have diet restrictions, please be prepared. You can exit the park only once, but the second time, you will pay again... Yes, it is weird. My family had fun at the water activities. It's just a bit challenging to get up to several flights of stairs to get to the top but I think it's worth it. Bring your own action camera to capture your memories as the park doesn't have automatic cameras. They do have camera men (like paparazzis) taking pictures all over the place though, which is kinda creepy. You'll find your pictures on the way out of the park and have it for 100Php. What I really find the most disgusting in this place is the shower room! It's a common area where multiple posts with shower heads are available. The drain is not working so used water with soap scums are getting stuck. The toilet is also lacking. I think there's only 2 working toilets for the whole park. Imagine where most of the guests relieved themselves 😱😱😱 If you are commuting, tricycle can be rented from Pacita Complex for 100php for 4 pax. However the trip back to Pacita will cost you 40pesos per pax. I still give the 3⭐⭐⭐ for having the nice water activities despite the poor amenities. Just manage your expectations before you even get there.
