Like other reviews, Abreeza Mall sits on the middle of the Davao City Malls Spectrum. The mall is most certainly huge, with so much variety in terms of Clothing Outlets and little shops placed strategically around it. The big food court sits above and away of the main hustle, open to the outside world; thus creating an atmosphere of being in a market environment. Smaller, more popular fast-food restaurants (McDonald's etc) are placed in the Large Atrium. The latter creates a feeling of communal and united space for all to witness. A cinema is also present, showing the latest movies from around the world. I would criticise the frequent sight of cracked tiles, for a modern and fairly new Mall; however, it wasn't too bothering for ones sight. Another notable sight was a lackluster number of electronic stores, as there were only a couple of Phone stores and appliance centres. Abreeza Mall is, quite honestly, a trip, instead of a visit. There is such a wide variety of shops and outlets to view, and can keep any enthusiast busy, no matter what they like. Any missing shops are leveraged by the...
Read moreMy ultimate shopping destination in Davao. My favorite mall, hands down! This mall was my temporary hideaway as it's between home and office before. Though it is quite far from where we live being in downtown proper - I don't mind going here for some serious retail therapy. Complete, clean and I love that the global brands such as Mark's & Spencer, Debenhams, Promod, GAP, Mango, Yosi Samra shoes, Onitsuka and Charles & Keith are right here. It has a good grocery, hardware plus a department store - all under Robinsons. Eating places, both old and new - are here, too, including the popular fastfood chains. They have Customer Lounge, too, which is an advantage. Most of what I need are here - from food, apparel, shoes, fashion stuff, office supplies, gadgets, etc. They have good coffee shops, too - Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf which are almost always full. The concierge is a great help, too and this has proven when I need to contact.my husband when my mobile phone's battery died out on me. They were able to locate husband's whereabouts. Very helpful staff. Will never get tired...
Read moreAbreeza is definitely my go-to mall in Davao. It’s always clean, has an active and lively vibe, and is well-connected to public transportation, which makes commuting super convenient. There are plenty of shopping options, and most stores accept card payments, such a huge plus. I also love how there are often events or programs happening here that add a fun touch to your visit. Free parking is easy to find every time we come, and the layout of the mall makes it very easy to navigate.
The only downside is the traffic in the surrounding area, it’s almost always congested. If you’re driving and need to get to the other side of the road, making a U-turn can be really challenging because of how long the road stretches and how busy it gets. Honestly, walking to nearby places is way more efficient than driving.
What I do appreciate, though, is how the area is surrounded by greenery, which helps balance out the urban feel and improves air quality despite the traffic. It also feels...
