Calitang Pearl Cottage — Attraction in El Nido

My wife and me had a beautiful time in this hotel. Owners and staffs are super friendly and very very helpful. The location is ideal, not too busy, one of the beautifuler beach we have seen in the area, and only 30min by motobike from El Nido if you want a bit more of activity. There is a bar restaurant on this hotel. Cocktails are great (definitely should try the pina colada) and the food is just amazing (loved the chicken adobo and the fresh fish which change depending on what fishermans did bring back). Pros: Great location a short walk from Nacpan Beach and a handful of restaurants on Twin Beach. Lovely sunset view. Very peaceful and quiet

Cons: Not very friendly welcome. Service in beach restaurant lackluster and disengaged, staff lacking the very basics in hospitality skills. Freshly brewed coffee as advertised not available. The cheaper rooms are like prison cells, the larger ones not very good value for money. Much cheaper to book direct than via booking.com Lots of broken glass on the beach - not recommended to...

Sauber Mehrheitlich freundliches Personal Grosse Terrasse mit Meersicht vor dem Bungalow Relativ grosszügig dimensioniertes Zimmer, aber gewiss nicht die bei Agoda angegebenen 100 Quadratmeter Einigermassen neu renoviert, aber strukturell wohl mindestens 30 Jahre alt (Standventilator stammt vermutlich auch aus jener Epoche) Recht gutes Internet (funktioniert allerdings nur im Umkreis von drei Metern um das Zimmer) Keine Klimaanlage Kein Trinkwasser Kein Kühlschrank Keine tägliche Zimmerreinigung Kein Bidetspray Keine Seife oder Shampoo Kein Badetuch (wurde auf Nachfrage geliefert) Enges und unpraktisches Bad Keinerlei Dekoration Unzählige Mücken und andere Insekten im Zimmer (undichte Türe) Exakt zwei alte Steckdosen für Nachttischlampe, Ventilator, Laden von Mobiltelefonen etc. Heimtückische Sandfliegen am Strand (das ist natürlich ausserhalb der Kontrolle des Hotels) Kein Mobilfunksignal in der ganzen Umgebung (Smart) Fazit: Ich würde das Hotel nicht nochmals buchen. Die tolle Aussicht und den super Sonnenuntergang kann man auch geniessen, wenn man sich vor dem Hotel in den Sand legt (DEET oder Kokosnussöl zum Schutz vor den Sandfliegen nicht vergessen!) oder im zugehörigen Restaurant isst, das unter anderem ausgezeichnete frische...
