Pros: My partner, and I were able to go to our trip. Cons. 1. They dont inspect the cars to ensure they function. We were given a faulty car. Within the first five minutes of driving, it abruptly shut off in the middle of the street. We managed to pull off to the side, turn on the car, assure that it was on and in drive and we went about our trip. Once again, about five minutes later, the car shut off. At that point, we reached out to the driver, who assured us that the car had been inspected. We pulled off to the side, turned on the car once more made sure it was in the correct gear and got on the skyway, within meters of entering the skyway the car shut off when we reached 60 km/h. Not only was a this a huge inconvenience, it was frightening because we were in a tiny Toyota Vios and there were huge trucks passing at the last second. When we pulled into an SOS lane , we tried to contact customer service. After several attempts of texting and calling them. They finally answered and they told us that they would try to get us a replacement within the next two hours. With no guarentee. It wasn’t until a traffic enforcer found us and escorted us off of the skyway to a safer place. We eventually got into car #2 and went on our way. This car drove better but still felt kind of jerky. 2. Customer service is very difficult to get ahold of , you call them, and they don’t answer, you messaged them on WhatsApp, and are left unseen. After we booking, aside from an email requesting documents, no one contacted us about a confirmation with the car that we had reserved and when we would get it. No official contract is sent with all the details needed. we had to find their terms of service to know exactly what was needed from us in order to rent and return the car. When we reached out via WhatsApp, it seemed like they had no clue who we were, they requested all of our documents again , the method of payment, etc. I’m not sure if they are different departments or they just don’t communicate because we reserved online to avoid this hassle. 3. When we were ready to return the car we called ahead of time to let them know we were arriving at our drop off location about 30 minutes before we arrived. After we made it to our location, we waited an extra 30 minutes for them to send someone to pick up the car. It all seemed very uncoordinated because, no one reached out to us. You can tell that they don’t prepare their staff properly because both of the pick up and delivery driver we’re not able to answer the questions that we had asked them. Not blaming them. I’m blaming the people that sent them. 4. I cant express it enough. Their customer service is not easy to get a hold of. Once you get someone, they aren’t very responsive. Their customer service is not up to par from what we have experienced with other companies. Through all the inconveniences that we experienced with a faulty car, we never heard any kind apology which is very disappointing given that we were stranded on the skyway and could have been in a terrible accident if others weren't paying attention. There was no offer for any kind of compensation for their short comings. 5.Their “contract “is a copy of a paper with pre-filled out information And handwritten notes doesn't seem like an established protocol. 6.Like mentioned, there are a lot of “hidden “fees in their process. When we originally made the reservation, it didn’t mentiona security deposit. We had to find the terms of service, that was the first place we saw that you have to put down a security deposit. But nowhere in the reservation process does it state the amount. It was our understanding that with the rental, they provide the RF ID cards to enter the expressway. Upon returning the car, the pick-up driver informed us that we exceeded the amount, there was a miscommunication that the renter is fully responsible for all the toll fees. Overall, we are satisfied that they managed to get us a car that worked. Their process is very convoluted but we managed to do our trip and...
Read moreUPDATE (Oct 22, 2024) - I'm very happy they were able to turn my experience around. The rented vehicle (fortuner) was delivered almost an hour early and it was clean and very well maintained. Airconditioning was great as well, we didn't have a problem cooling the interior even at noon time.
Hopefully, they improve the initial experience so newbies won't be turned off.
I will do business with them again, for sure. :)
I tried their rental services because of stellar reviews here in google. As a first timer for trying their rental service, I was excited cause of the great reviews.
Unfortunately, their live chat agents are frustrating to talk to. I first talked to Chona and it went on ok. She was able to answer my questions, got my details and I sent my requirements. This was done via email. I paid via CC and they verified it was successful. She then replied that she needed the same requirements that I have sent over (which she already verified) after confirming my payment. I was then ignored when I replied why she needed it again and that the same requirements she was asking for is in the same email thread we were talking in.
What's frustrating for me is that they left me hanging after confirming my payment (I paid in full). Didnt give me instructions or any sort of next steps what to do next, what to expect etc.
I never got an answer so I tried their live chat again, got Jenny who took a total of 30 mins to answer my query, practically ignoring my chat. I called their landline and got Marife who at last was able to help.
I told her I was frustrated with their live chat service and that the live chat agent was 'walang silbi'. She replied that I should not use bad words. How is walang silbi (useless in english) a bad word?? Anyways, she said she will email me the confirmation and next steps. I'm ok with that for now.
I asked for their manager so I can give feedback. She said theyll call me cause she was in a meeting. I will wait to see how this turns out.
Not a good start for a first timer of their service. Hopefully they turn this around. Will update this with my whole experience once...
Read moreMy daughter and her husband from New Jersey with their five year old daughter and one year old twin boys including my wife and I rented a Toyota HiAce with driver from Anis Transport. The driver was so neat and well mannered and very helpful in loading and unloading the luggages and assisting with the kids. He drove us around Bataan, Subic, Nasugbu and BGC. He is very knowledgeable about the places we went to. He became our tour guide, photographer and driver all at the same time. The driver is Arnold Odi.
When my daughter and her family went back home to New Jersey my wife and I decided to visit Ifugao to see the Rice Terraces. I contacted Anis Transport to rent a vehicle and requested the same driver Arnold Odi to be the driver. Unfortunately Arnold was on another assignment. For our tour to Ifugao, Anis Transport provided us a Toyota Fortunner with Eric Diolata as our driver for four days. Fyi, nine days before our tour, Ifugao was hit by typhoon Pepito. On our way to Ifugao we traveled the Malico Road. There were landslide and all sizes of rocks on the side of the roads. Malico road is a zigzag road. The driver has to navigate all the turns and avoid the landslide and rocks on the side of the roads and the incoming vehicles as well. When we reached the Ifugao mountain the driver has to deal with the same scenario. Coming back home we traveled the same route. When we where on Malico Road on top of the mountain it rained so hard and became very foggy with a strong wind. With my own eyes, I cannot see the road. I asked the driver if he can still see the road, he said "Yes Sir I can clearly see the road." I believed him because I didn't feel any hesitation and abrupt breaking while he was driving.
Thank you Anis Transport for providing us the vehicle and the driver that suited the mountainous trip. Our driver Eric Diolata is not only a professional mountain/zigzag driver he is also neat and well mannered person. Btw, the Rice Terraces in Ifugao is really one of the wonders...
