I love walking and this is definitely one of the best places to take a leisurely walk in Metro Manila. The walkway is shaded mostly by tall acacia trees and thick bamboo. Not much pavement, which is good, but can be muddy on rainy days. The area is also one of the first to sink when there is flood so it can be very dusty when the eroded soil dries. Pedestrians and bikers share the same walkway which can be stressful on a busy day. At dusk, beware of mosquitoes.

You'll be entertained while you walk by the different animal structures from Bayan to Riverbanks. There are also some cages that house some small mammals and farm fowls. Although, it's sad that some structures have been obviously destroyed. Not sure if it's because of the floods or unruly people.

I envy Marikeños for having a public open space like this which can be a luxury for many Metro Manila. This should be emulated...

They should be able to identify the bike lane and walking/jogging area. It may pose hazards both for bikers and people walking or jogging. Along the banks, there are stalls/ kiosks offer budget food. The city government should lessen the potential risk by re routing bike lanes and pedestrians. Pedestrians/bikers should be walking/riding facing the traffic so they can see if there is a way ward bike approaching them. Clean rest room should also be available 24/7 as well as medical facilities. Overall it's a place that you can relax after exercising. River Park is currently undergoing improvement in controlling and managing floodings. Biking and walking are now limited to assigned areas as safety measures. It will take some time before the construction will...

The place is good for picnics, recreation activities and such BUT DON'T EVER TRUST THE BIKE RENTALS HERE UNLESS THEY HAVE THE OPPOSITES OF BELOW.

THE LACK OF INSPECTION AND CLEANING OF THEIR BIKES IS SO AWFUL YOU CAN ALREADY KNOW THAT THEY WERE ALREADY ABUSED AT FIRST SIGHT AND THE RENTEE ONLY KNOWS BUSINESS AND THEY HAVE NO SAFETY PERSONNEL OH MY GOSH IT IS BETTER TO HAVE AN OWN BIKE RATHER THAN RENTING THEIR BIKES OR JUST JOG OR WALK THROUGH THE RIVER PARK TO ENJOY MORE OF THE SCENERY

but still u have the choice, im only implying what i observed and experienced during my stay there so stay...

You can enjoy, walking, jogging, biking or just for a past time on this place. There is also a vegetable and fruits seller by the truck right below the bridge. Mostly they sell onion and garlic, squash anything that is available.. While you are roaming around you will see vegetable just fresh from the garden they planted and sell for 10Php for a bundle, camote tops, spinach or saluyot. A saba (banana type) is also sold. Other are hunting fish on the river.

You can find here a big market. Name Marikana River market. In this market you can find lots of variety product in reasonable price. You can find lot's of Chinese product. There has two part in right side you will find department store's in left side you can find cheeper shops. Here you can find one extraordinary female shop who will insert your name in cap with embodies within a minutes. It can be a good subenior of you in Phelippine.

We found a new hang out spot! Cafe de Terraza surprisingly has a serene vibe despite being close to the crowded River park. It has a river view and a bridge view as well. You can relax while you sip your delicious blend of coffee and snack on their cheesiest nachos and fries. You might even meet their two cute and lovely dogs - a Chihuahua and a Corgi. They're both so behave and doesn't even bark.
