Constructed by the Augustinian order in 1587 having St. Anne as its patron saint. St. Anne is the Virgin Mary's mother and maternal grandmother of Jesus Christ according to the Gospel of James. This church was destroyed by 2 separate earthquakes in 1645 and 1882 - but was rebuilt again and again. The church's exterior was again renovated in 1987 on its 400th anniversary. A must visit place when in Taguig City.

The Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Anne, or more commonly known as the Sta Ana Church is an old church but has been recently renovated. The vast churchyard provides a good parking lot for the churchgoers. Also located within the churchyard is a giant century old Acacia tree, which adds beauty and history to this world heritage site.

Celebrating the church as Minor Basilica... You can attend mass daily every 6:00am... Mass schedule every sunday with 30 minutes interval 5:00 am, 6:30 am, 8:00 am and 9:30 am 3:00 pm, 4:30pm, 6:00 pm

Very beautiful old church! I had a nice time seeing the church in all of its glory! Definitely worth going to if you ever plan on visiting churches!

Interesting stop when cycling in the neighborhood. The construction of the church began in 1883 by Augustinian friars.
