The Philippine Army Museum — Attraction in Taguig

i’ve seen some recent reviews from foreign tourists giving this museum low ratings, but i want to clarify something important: if you truly want to visit the Philippine Army Museum, you need to BOOK an appointment in advance to be permitted entry. it’s really not that hard.., just reach out to the officers and staff (email or call) at least a week before your planned visit. for foreign tourists, it’s best to request a permit about 21 days ahead

the officers and staff are very kind, polite, and friendly. i was pleasantly surprised to have a museum guide who was not only knowledgeable about every corner of the museum but also warm and approachable. the whole experience was informative and inspiring

I was able to visit the Philippine Army Museum recently, and was a bit surprised at how good their Indoor Display was. The Lighting was good, the themes and Dioramas they arranged was excellent and the Airconditioning was going full blast.

They also have a good inventory of firearms, they have a real AK-47 Rifle, for example, and others like a CETME Rifle, a PPSH-41, etc. I would have to say that it was the best local military Indoor Display that I have seen so far.

Taking pictures is not allowed on some of the items on their Indoor Display, though, so in the end I only took pictures of their Outdoor Display.

It is a bit out of the way as it is inside Fort Bonifacio. To get there, go to Gate 6 and then from there ride the Jeepney that goes around the camp. Fare is subsidized so you only pay P 2 per ride, just tell the Driver to drop you off...
