VFS Global Visa Application Centre (Canada, United Kingdom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) — Attraction in Warsaw

SHAME! I've had a dreadful experience at Canada Visa Centre on Friday 9th Dec. I've received a letter that my passport is ready to be collected and I took a day off specifically to come from another city to Warsaw. My sister and other acquaintances were collecting their passports without any appointments, and here 3 days before I arrived, they changed the policy, and people were simply not aware of it. I came to the Visa Centre after 2pm and explained my situation. As a matter of fact, there were few people for collection, no queues at all, but they refused to let me collect it. When I was standing to figure out what to do, one of the ladies (coordinators) came to me and said there is a person on the 1st floor, sitting under escalator, who can make a fake invitation for 200zl!!!!!! Imagine, poor people coming from different cities, they escaped war, have no money, and forced to pay JUST TO COLLECT THEIR OWN PASSPORTS!!!! SHAME!!! I'm addressing this to all people in charge of the Canada Application Centre, to do the investigation and stop this cynical money business! And please notify people in advance of collection policy being changed, so they would not waste time on...

Terrible, extremely slow service. Waited for over 10 hours in very hot hall to collect my passport and didn’t get it. People are basically hostage without passport and can’t leave the country. Stuff are not helpful at all. They didn’t let anyone collect the passports. A group of 30 people that was waiting since 4:30 were allowed to enter the room at 13:00 where after 2 more hours of waiting they receive their passports. The next group took about 2 more hours. Than they closed the office and the bathrooms. More than 350 people left waiting with no place to go. Mostly women with children and elderly, who don’t have where to spend the night. Shame on this organization. More than 450 people are waiting in line that barely moves. Tomorrow there will be even more. People can't get passports for a second or third day in a row. Most of them had to reschedule flights for 1 or 2 times. Complete chaos. Probably the worst service in my life. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I wish I traveled to other country to do my visa, it would be faster...

The vfs always has been and still is incompetent company. Here's why: The location of the visa center mentioned in the official appointment confirmation email is totally misleading (in the email confirmation it says that VFS is located at the 22nd floor, whereas in reality they're located on 32nd AND you're supposed to wait on 1st floor for the one of their employees to pick you up). The time you sign up for the appointment is not followed - there is a physical line and no one cares if you have the appointment at 09:00 or 10:00. When you finally get there somehow, you're supposed to bring the appointment letter which is the only mentioned document that you should print out and bring a physical copy of along with passport (where is the go green approach to save the trees in 2022?). Turns out that there are at least other two forms than need to be printed out. To sum it all up, this kind of incompetence and approach by VFS global especially with visa matters is absolutely unecceptable and should not be tolerated in any...
