This art museum is truly a hidden gem and an incredible experience! Inside, you'll find an impressive collection of royal artifacts and precious diplomatic gifts, each with its own fascinating history and significance. The curated exhibits are well thought out, and it’s clear a lot of effort has gone into preserving and showcasing these pieces. Every item tells a unique story that gives visitors a deeper understanding of cultural heritage.

What truly sets this museum apart, though, is the building itself. It is newly constructed with a modern architectural design that balances sleek contemporary elements with a touch of classic charm. The spacious galleries are bright and inviting, offering a fresh take on museum design while still honoring the traditional art form. Whether you’re an art lover or simply curious about history, the museum’s design creates a welcoming and inspiring space to explore.

One of the most delightful aspects of this museum is the peaceful atmosphere. Unlike many other popular tourist spots, it’s not overcrowded, which allows you to truly take your time to appreciate the exhibits without feeling rushed. The tranquility of the museum makes it an ideal place for those who enjoy a quiet, contemplative experience. It’s the perfect setting for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in art and culture.

If you're looking for a place to relax while enriching your mind and soul, this museum is an absolute must-visit. It offers a unique blend of history, art, and serenity, making it the perfect destination for those who appreciate culture in a calm, undisturbed setting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful...

The Museu do Tesouro Real is an absolute gem in Lisbon, offering a collection that, while small, is of exceptional quality. Each piece on display is meticulously curated and showcases the opulence and craftsmanship of Portugal's royal heritage. From dazzling jewelry to exquisite regal artifacts, the collection provides a captivating glimpse into the splendor of the Portuguese monarchy.

One can't help but feel that this museum should have been established long ago. The absence of such a treasure trove for so long is a reflection of the inferiority complex of certain Portuguese politicians, whose republican convictions perhaps delayed the celebration of this important aspect of national history. It’s refreshing to see these treasures finally given the recognition they deserve.

The museum itself is beautifully designed, providing a serene and elegant setting that enhances the viewing experience. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate, adding depth and context to the exhibits with their insights and stories.

In short, the Museu do Tesouro Real is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, art, or the regal legacy of Portugal. It's a testament to the country's rich cultural heritage and a long-overdue addition to Lisbon's vibrant museum scene. Highly...

The museum was quite impressive, with a wide variety of artifacts and an organized layout. While the security screening was efficient, the staff member conducting it could have been more courteous. While the objects on display are undeniably valuable to the country, the importance of treating visitors with respect cannot be overstated.

Within the museum, we encountered a large group of around 20 individuals being guided through the exhibits by a couple dressed as a king and queen. This group significantly hindered our ability to view the exhibits, as they occupied the narrow corridors and blocked our path. Additionally, the gentleman dressed as the king was particularly disruptive, making loud jokes and shouting his narration.

This behavior was extremely inconsiderate, as we are paying customers who are also entitled to enjoy the museum's offerings. The excessive noise and obstruction made it impossible to fully appreciate the exhibits.

If guided tours are to be conducted, the museum should consider closing off certain areas to the general public during those times to minimize disruptions.

While the museum's collection is undoubtedly noteworthy, our experience was significantly diminished by the disruptive guided tour and the inconsiderate behavior...

I was not anticipating much, and was happily surprised by this exhibition, both by its size (I was expecting a smaller number of pieces in display) and quality. It really has numerous pieces of very high quality: most sections are noteworthy, but I must mention the sections of the 'Orders of Knighthood and Orders of Merit' and of the 'Royal Table' as my favorites. Evidently, the jewellery collection is also worth seeing - find the Paris made snuff box that made king Louis XV and his mistress, Madame de Pompadour, so, so jealous! - and the audio guides for the hole collection are very well prepared. Visitation during weekends may take a while longer and too many people around you takes the pleasure of enjoying each piece with time, so I recommend you choose a weekday to visit, if you can. Also, if you go by car, parking will not be difficult but make sure you take everything valuable with you, the surroundings are not the most recommendable part of our city. Enjoy our Crown Jewels!!!
