We were staying in the area and stumbled on this place. It was very busy but the waiter explained it would be a short wait for a table. So glad we waited. A few minutes away from the botanical garden, up on a hill, you will find a couple of restaurants with small terraces outside in a more quite part of town, away from all the tourists and hustlers. Among them is Sossego. We have been searching a while for a place that served sardines, with no success. So we considered ourselves lucky when we found them on the menu. Friendly, very jolly, and accommodating. On Saturdays there seem to be always people waiting to be seated, because they don't take bookings.
