Stopped by for some midday coffee and small bites. The menu was just Portuguese but Google Translate and Instagram pics helped us pick what we wanted. The server (owner?) was very friendly and spoke English very well. We shared a few dishes. The Pica-Pau had a olive-y sauce with small beef slices, it's good if you like olives. The Bife a Rota Dos Petiscos was a large/thin piece of beef with mushrooms in a creamy mustard sauce, and came w fries and rice. The sauce was really good for that one. The Tosta da Casa was basically a ham and cheese panini with some herbs on top, was very very tasty and crispy. We also got the Pudim de Leite which was like a custard-y flan with a thick caramelized sugar topping, soooo good. They might run out of that one, we got the last one of the day around 4pm. We were 4 persons and ordered two starters and a main dish per person(the ones in the picture)
The waiter was sincere and told us that we would have to wait for 30-40 minutes to be served... They were one serving and one cooking and that time was not accurate since it took a little bit longer BUT we were advised so that is not problem, really nice serving as he was serving with a constant pace.
The dessert were really nice and cheap.

Turned out to be the best restaurant experience in Lisbon! :-) We ate a three course meal, consisting of the veggie soup, fish and a dessert. The service was excellent and value for money unbeatable.
