Museu Quinta de Santiago — Attraction in Matosinhos

Can highly recommend this beautiful place. The house is well restored with pieces of furniture and and an exhibition on the second floor. Fantastic architecture and design from an era not so long ago but long gone. Rute and her colleagues are doing such a great job in explaining you the history of the house. It's not very large, but we had a personalized visit with a whole bunch of stories that would definitely not be included in the usual visit. Great small museum to get a feel for the late XIX century Porto scene. Very well maintained! And walking the adjacent gardens and trail is a nice touch, particularly on a hot day...
