The FC Porto Museum, located at the Estádio do Dragão, is a paradise for football fans and a testament to the rich history and success of one of Portugal's most storied football clubs. Whether you’re a die-hard supporter or a casual observer of the sport, this museum offers a fascinating journey through the club's illustrious past.

From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a sleek and modern design that sets the tone for an engaging and interactive experience. The museum is meticulously curated, showcasing a vast array of memorabilia that tells the story of FC Porto’s achievements, challenges, and triumphs.

One of the most impressive features of the FC Porto Museum is its extensive collection of trophies. The sight of numerous league titles, national cups, and international trophies, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League and Europa League cups, is awe-inspiring. Each trophy is accompanied by detailed descriptions and multimedia presentations that provide context and highlight the significance of each victory.

The museum also offers a wealth of information about the club's legendary players and managers. Interactive exhibits and video displays bring to life the careers of icons like Deco, Vítor Baía, and the indomitable coach José Mourinho. These sections offer deep dives into their contributions to the club and the memorable moments they helped create.

Beyond the trophies and player profiles, the FC Porto Museum also delves into the club’s social and cultural impact. Exhibits highlight the passionate fan base and the community initiatives the club has supported over the years. This holistic approach ensures visitors appreciate not just the on-field success but also the club's broader significance in Porto and beyond.

One of the standout attractions is the immersive audiovisual experiences. These state-of-the-art presentations take you right into the heart of some of the most pivotal matches in FC Porto’s history. The combination of archival footage, dynamic lighting, and surround sound makes you feel like you’re right there in the stadium, experiencing the highs and lows alongside the fans.

The museum shop is another highlight, offering a wide range of FC Porto merchandise. From jerseys and scarves to books and memorabilia, there’s something for every fan to take home as a memento of their visit.

For those interested in exploring further, the museum also offers guided tours of the Estádio do Dragão. This tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic stadium, including the locker rooms, press areas, and the pitch itself.

In conclusion, the FC Porto Museum is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in football. It’s not just a museum; it’s a celebration of the club’s legacy and an immersive experience that brings the history of FC Porto to life. Whether you’re a fan of the club or simply a lover of the sport, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the passion and dedication that have made FC Porto one of the most successful football clubs...

I started in the state of the art museum with great, informative, interactive displays, charting how the club’s past ties into Portugal’s political history. Some interesting trophies and a rather curious arty film in a movie theatre to top off the museum part of the tour. The stadium is modern and impressive. I expect it is enlivened by the fans, because it’s the people that make an experience. Which brings me onto the staff, who are stationed at various points around the tour. They were overwhelmingly disengaged, disinterested (apart from looking at their phones) and showed no passion for their club. This theme started at reception where the girls on the desk chatted with each other for several minutes before bothering to look up, barely indicating they were remotely interested in checking me in. During my visit, only one staff member engaged with me. Henrique was the highlight of my visit. He explained about the commemorative tiled wall on the concourse where he was stationed, that pays tribute to former players and fans. We chatted at length about the links between our clubs (FCP & LFC). Henrique is a credit to the club and his passion shone through. As I said, it is the people that make a football club and FC Porto Museum & Tours need many...

We have been to many stadiums in the England as our daughter is a professional footballer and travelled around watching games.

The stadium is of a really high standard and it was clear that staff take pride in their work from the tour guides to the cleaning staff all seemed very dedicated.

What does make Porto FC stand out was their museum we spent a rather long time walking around more so my partner who is obsessed with football. We video called our daughter well we was there and she thought it was really cool as well.

What I do think they can do better is to work harder at equality. I understand they have started a women’s team which is great to see and I look forward to seeing that progress. I hope they push on that a lot more and include more within the museum and the statues of various people just out side the entrance of the museum needs to reflect their commitment to women in the game.

I think Porto FC are in a good place of development for women and leading by example is important but they do equally have some way to go yet (much like...

This is my third visit to the FC Porto Museum since it opened, and it never disappoints. The stadium tour, in particular, has improved significantly. Without a guide, you have the freedom to explore at your own pace, pause to rest whenever you like, and take as many photos as you want. Experiencing the stadium grounds in such a relaxed setting is truly unique. The museum itself is absolutely incredible. I got goosebumps, especially in the trophy room. The production quality is outstanding, easily one of the best, if not the best, museums in Portugal. My only suggestion would be to update the final film shown in the big cinema room before the exit. It has been the same one for as long as I can remember and, aside from the impressive graphics, it does not really focus on the team. It would be amazing to see a showcase of FC Porto's greatest moments instead.

This place was amazing! My only regret is we didn't give it enough time in our schedule. So my advice, the Studium tour you can probably do in 45 minutes. The museum requires at least 1.5 hours to properly appreciate all that's on offer. I suggest dedicating at least 2.5-3.5 hours to get your money's worth. I would recommend the audio guide for both parts but especially for the stadium tour. We had to forgoe it for the museum because we were running late for our next event. They offer some professional photos. Individual ones are expensive but the package is reasonable. You can take your own photos in some areas but not others. Definitely recommend. Would visit again even though I'm not specifically a football fan. Give the visit a minimum of 2.5 hours excluding the merchandise shop 😂.
