Overall, the experience was positive, although there are several points worth mentioning:
· The hotel is clearly brand new, and that shows in its cleanliness, upkeep, and design. The entire space feels modern and luxurious. The overall aesthetic is very well executed: there’s a strong impression of elegance and tasteful decor, with pleasant common areas.
· The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished, and the bathroom was honestly one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.
· Staff were friendly and willing to help at all times.
Areas for Improvement:
· It’s clear that most of the staff are young or lack experience. I don’t see that as a negative—on the contrary, I understand that a new hotel might want to hire less experienced employees to train them internally and reduce costs.
· However, the real issue lies in the lack of supervision and presence from management. When a team is inexperienced, proper leadership and daily oversight are essential. That was definitely missing here.
· I didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant myself, but my travel companion did and found the buffet underwhelming. The coffee, in particular, was very poor—surprisingly so, considering there was a high-quality coffee machine and bar setup in the chill-out area. Breakfast was included in our stay, but we ended up skipping it most days after the first experience and reading other reviews. It just didn’t seem worth it.
Several issues occurred during our stay:
· One day, we couldn’t access the hotel through the main entrance because the door was blocked. Staff tried their best to fix it, but it was clear they lacked the protocols to handle the situation efficiently. We had to use the garage.
· Our room didn’t have a minibar, which made it difficult to keep drinks or snacks cool. We were also missing basic items like pillows, glasses, and other amenities. Even after requesting them more than once, we didn’t receive them until the second day. The air conditioning also seemed not to be working adequately.
Conclusion: it has a lot of potential: it’s beautiful, new, comfortable, and visually appealing. The staff is friendly and eager to help, but they need better guidance and stronger support from management. It’s a shame that operational issues overshadow what could otherwise be an...

If you’re planning to ruin your holiday in Porto, The Log Porto Hotel is the perfect place. Aggressive staff, baseless accusations, and service failures that are hard to believe even when you see them with your own eyes.
We arrived as a large group, with all rooms fully paid in advance. Still, we spent hours just trying to receive the room keys. At one point, they suggested turning a triple room into a double by throwing in a sofa — even that didn’t work out.
The entrance door to the hotel is massive and ridiculously heavy. If you’re into weightlifting, maybe you’ll enjoy it. One evening, a friend of mine was entering and the door handle detached from the top. We immediately called a staff member — this happened right in front of them. The next day, we received an email claiming “someone in your group broke the door handle, and you will be charged.” Excuse me? I demanded they check the security cameras and told them I would take legal action if they insisted on this absurd accusation.
Later, they collected passports and called me back saying some were missing and they would deactivate the room keys unless we handed over the rest. I rushed to gather the passports, only to be told: “Oh sorry, my colleague already collected them but forgot to inform me.” Incredible…
Most of our group was staying on the 6th floor, and there was no internet connection there for the entire stay. Strangely, the issue was magically resolved the day we checked out.
Water? They told us we were entitled to one small bottle per day. Then they said there was no water and spoke to us with attitude.
Breakfast? They promised a private room and “special service” for the group. In reality, we were placed in a worse room, while the real “special service” was being served in the other hall. I will upload two videos: one showing the room they claimed was “exclusive for us,” and the other showing the actual better setup served to other guests. You decide which one looks “special.”
There’s so much more I could say, but I’m honestly exhausted even writing this. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, the system forces you to give...
