Alameda Shop & Spot — Local services in Porto

I visited this shopping mall 2 days ago for cinema. We went here to watch a film at the cinema. It is a bit far from Villa Nova de Gaia but worth to visit for cinema.

Pros: The mall is located in strategic roundabout. It is very close Estádio do Dragão of FC Porto by walking distance. The mall is quite big with four levels, clean, and has great decorations in some parts. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. Parking accessible for wheelchair. The parking is free and has a very huge space. They have gymnastics for doing exercises and sports. They have many great stores (clothes, decorations, and many others stores). Big supermarket Continente is here too. The customer service of the mall is very kind and helpful. They have a cinema and they offer a promotion of 10 euros per person for jantar and movie. The ticket can be purchased on the first floor after 7 at night. I highly recommend to try this promotion. They have food court in the fourth floor. Free wifi accessible inside the shopping mall. Free restroom. The lift and escalator work well. A four star hotel is located near the shopping mall. The shopping mall is very close with a metro station.

A pretty average shopping centre geared to the visitor coming by car but doing little to entice the traveller coming on the tram. Signage in nearby metro station is really poor - you need signage giving you clear bold instructions to the shopping centre. We headed in wrong direction before sorting ourselves out. The restaurants on top floor were sooooo bland and were fast food chains instead of being restaurants. Entrances to shopping centre were badly located and again signage giving directions back to metro station was really poor. I had a fantastic time at this shopping center, located right next to the magnificent Estádio do Dragão! The variety of stores was amazing, with something for everyone. From high-end designer boutiques to affordable fashion outlets, there was a great selection of shops. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the excellent dining options available, with a range of cafes and restaurants to choose from.
