The giant canary colour teddy bear, Yellow Bear also known as Lamp-Bear, is on display at the grand foyer of the International Airport's duty-free shopping hall.
Sitting on a podium, measuring 23 ft or 7 meters tall, this world-famous sculpture is made out of cast bronze. It weighs approximately 35,000 lb or 16,000 kg.
Over its head is a lamp which covers almost half of its face. It looks like an interrogation lamp. While it looks cute from the front, you may be shocked that the stem of the lamp passes through the back part of the body. I feel its pain!
