Le Grand Comptoir — Restaurant in Doha

The airport is one of the 10 wonders in the world. From walking in the gardens inside the airport with tropical trees to every high end retailer, the place is incredible. Plus in a city that is HOT walking in the air conditioning is quite special. But one has to eat so we ate at Le Grand Comptoir and it was really decent. Remember one is in an airport and the food was really good. We had late dinner and the place was packed as a lot of flights leave Doha at night it seems. We chose simple - a burger, salad, some tiger pawns and a turkey sandwich. They were attentive and fast as we did not have a lot of time to get to the plane. Very nice place for enjoying while waiting for the next flights but anyway I had experience just now, In 7 months or and in 2 months I am doing my traveling in several defferent places in the world, and the mostly I always transate in this port but this is the first time I found cafe is so expensive.. Probably one of the worst lounge restaurants at Hamad Airport or any airports that I have ever been to. Very disappointed especially that it’s one of the few if not the only departure lounge. The space looks good overall and chairs are comfy.
