Evergreen Organics HIA — Restaurant in Doha

While the food tasted ok, there were a couple things that rubbed us the wrong way.

1. we got there around 6:30am on a Saturday. There was a long queue and when we finally got the the counter and ordered some toasts, we were told toasts weren't being sold at the moment. They should write a sign that says toasts only available after 12pm or something to save everyone time

2. the menu up top has milk options to choose from (oat, soy etc). So we ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk and was told hot chocs only come with almond milk. Once again, please specify that on the menu somehow to save everyone time so that customers don't get stumped last second and have to take time thinking about what else to get instead

3. VERY dishonest on the sandwiches they have in the fridge. The pictures speak for themselves, but they purposefully make the sandwich look like it has a lot more content than it...

100% vegan, gluten free options, plenty of plantbased milk options and sandwiches, salads, snacks, smoothies, fresh fruits or fruit salads, cookies, cakes, chocolates and coffee and tea options. I had the Jungle Bowl and forest smoothie. It’s expensive but it filled me up and was a fresh feed between flights. Jungle bowl is quinoa, sweet potato, kale, avocado, red onion, coriander and Brazil nuts even though I could neither see nor taste the red onion and Brazil nuts I guess it was there?? Odd. Still tasty as it comes with a lime banana dressing The forest smoothie is avocado, banana, spirulina, kale, coconut water, lemon juice, dates. Overall flavours were okay, not amazing but it gave me the energy from fresh foods that I needed. Staff were very friendly and great & quick service. As an airport option this is the best at Doha Hamad...

I am always happy to come back here, knowing that the food is all natural and plant-based here. It is my serene spot in the busy airport.

4* for service and atmosphere: you are understaffed, guys. Airport is a very crowded place and customers flow is non-stop. The team is struggling taking orders and cooking at the same time. As many cafe visitors are disrespectful, they leave all the trash on the tables, chairs and even on top of the entrance board (where it is written 100%vegan) and the crew not always is able to clean everything on time. So even the ambience is nice, it is not pleasant to seat surrounded by piles of trash. You cannot change the behavior of ignorant people , who don't use the the waste bins provided , so , please , give some extra hands to maintain the cleanliness...
