What an incredibly big collection today! Ranging from old camera's, Painting made from beats, drawings, antiques, a small war museum, old ruins underneath to educational areas, findings from the ruins, beautiful photographs... Could go on. We thought that maybe just maybe the price was a bit much, but 25 lei for a standard ticket was afterwards quite cheap for being able to spend a good 2,5 hours taking in the place. Did not expect in any way that the place would be almost 10 times bigger then I thought...

I enjoyed learning about the city I grew up in. I wish they didn't use AI art for some of the sections about the Ottoman war, etc. The WW1 photos were painted on the wall, which was really pretty. Get some talented artists to paint on your walls! Or blow up some photos as backdrops. AI art is stealing what artists can do!

Regardless, very beautiful place, and very organized. The cafe was delicious, and their mini bread...

The museum is great. Worth visiting if travelling to Oradea Entrance is 20 lei (4Euro) for adults and 15 lei (3Euro) for children. Keep in mind is also fully wheelchair accessible. There are many exibits, all included in the price, most of them about the history of the city. You can also check out the basement of the old fortress. The staff is helpfull and very nice! 10 out of...

Fantastic museum after the restoration of the fortress. It has both permanent and temporary exhibitions. We enjoyed all of them, especially the one on Matias Corvinus, Oradea conquest in first world war, history of fortress and old engineering. The ticket is affordable, they have done a great job with the exhibitions.
