Leisure Center Poiana Brasov — Attraction in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

There was Spartan Race taking place. During the main event, everything was taken care of properly. Lots of place in the center and outside of it as well. For the ammount of people, there were few bathrooms, but that can be handled differently next time. Because of raining and not very convenient weather, the meadow changed into one big muddy pond. Maybe this could be handled better with few wooden or concrete blocks for better comfort. The racers don't mind this, but it was bad for spectators. Maybe there could be better place for the podium, as it was up the hill and with worse accessibility. The leisure center itself is nice,big with spacious bar and lots of rest places and games. Great place for kids. Unfortunately it’s run by local Government so keep expectations low with ability to serve customers well.

The water was turned off during our visit, so was unable to wash the soap off my hands.

The bartender, Daniel, offered to sell me a bottle of water. Which was the extent of his willingness to help because it “wasn’t his problem.”

Thankfully the manager was incredibly helpful through the superpower of empathy and explanation of the cause of the issue.
