Well, everything was closed due to covid so I had to go to eat at you guys, and tbh it was a really bad idea. The food you serve is super oily and full of fats, romanian food doesn't have to be soaked in sunflower oil, and it also doesn't need to look gross as yours is. We had some pork dish with polenta and it was decent(but full of oil, maybe it was the last portion you guys had) however the pork ribs were just bad, you threw some pieces of meat(with 50% fat) on a grill with literally no spices(actually the meat was super salty) and probably no sauces on it and you charge 11 euros for it(just ribs)?! (And no, just the fact that it's a ski resort doesn't mean you can sell such bad food for such a high price) I've been in many places but never had such bad ribs(literally meat with salt), also we got some potato fries(some kind of wedges) that were half cooked, how can you even get fries wrong? And the top of the ice iceberg was the 4 euro pancake, I literally threw it away as it was unedible. I'm really sorry for this review but you have to step up your kitchen game, maybe get some better chefs as these guys that prepared our food did a pretty bad job. Dislike!...

The place is well designed with a lot of old objects that local people used in daily life. The staff could be a little little bit more kind but considerig the amount of customers they had while we were there it is almost unnoticeable.
The food is delicious, service was like 20 minutes and eerythig was fresh.
Only one bid contra I have. They closed the interior so everyone was forced to eat outside which is not a bad thing, (the interior is worth seen because it is special) so we sat outside but people are smoking hard while they eat. Worse romanian unsensitive custom that I have already encountered, they smoke while they eat. It is terrible. Not everybody wants to have unhealthy smelly smoke in their nostrils while they try to enjoy the great food. This kinda ruined the feeling of the otherwise great place but I guess you can not do anything about it.
I...
Read moreAn old restaurant that puts a lot of effort into looking authentic — perhaps a bit too much, as it might seem a bit fake. It’s a popular place with plenty of customers, so don’t expect a very personal or intimate experience. That said, many people do enjoy the old-fashioned vibe and nostalgic style of old Romania, so it really depends on what you’re looking for.
The food was good. I even tried bear meat — it tasted somewhat like beef, though I personally find beef tastier. Still, if you want to try something unusual, go for it. It’s priced at about €40 per 100 grams and comes served with potatoes and sauce. The chicken skewers were also nice, and overall, I would recommend their game dishes.
Lastly, they serve a very good vișinată (a Romanian sour cherry liqueur). I especially enjoyed the “ladies’ version,” which is only 17% alcohol — it feels like a rich, slightly sour cherry juice liqueur. Definitely...
