Excellent Snowboard Rental – Great Gear at a Fair Price! Recently, I rented a snowboard at KA-MA SPORT, and I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the equipment and the reasonable pricing. The rental shop offers a great selection of well-maintained skis and snowboards, suitable for all levels—from beginners to advanced riders. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me find the perfect board for my style and experience level. Overall, I highly recommend this rental service for anyone visiting Poiana Brașov. Great equipment, excellent service, and a price that doesn’t break the bank — what more could you ask for? Will definitely rent from them again!

100% recommended. We rented the skis, boots, helmet and googles (all great quality) for 24€ p/person. He doesn’t rent clothing but his colleague right upstairs offers clothing for the full day (pants, jacket and gloves) for 20€ and he also offers affordable lessons. I recommend calling the day before so that they can reserve the clothes for you for the next day. The owner is Italian and speaks English as well. They were both super friendly, could not recommend more!

Ka-MA Sport rent Ski School & Snowboarding es una tienda de alquiler de equipos de esquí y snowboard estratégicamente situada muy cerca del teleférico en Poiana Brașov. Su ubicación facilita el acceso a las pistas, lo que la convierte en una opción muy conveniente para quienes buscan alquilar material de esquí o snowboard. Ofrecen una amplia variedad de esquís según el nivel del usuario, y el alquiler estándar incluye esquís, bastones y botas. También disponen de cascos y gafas de alquiler por un costo adicional. En 2025, el precio del pack completo de esquí o snowboard es de 100 lei, mientras que el alquiler de un casco cuesta 20 lei. Es importante tener en cuenta que, en caso de pérdida o daño del equipo, las multas pueden oscilar entre 500 y 1.000 lei. Aunque suele haber bastante afluencia de clientes, el personal es amable, profesional y habla varios idiomas, lo que facilita la comunicación con turistas de diferentes países. Además, ofrecen la posibilidad de pagar tanto en efectivo como con tarjeta. We rolled into KA-MA on a packed Saturday, five of us needing full snowboard setups, and these guys handled it like pros. Even with the rush, the staff was super efficient, making sure we got the right boards, boots, and bindings without feeling rushed. The gear was solid—well-maintained boards, comfortable boots, and sturdy bindings that didn’t give us any trouble on the mountain.

We had such a great time that we came back Sunday for round two, and the experience was just as smooth. Drop-off was quick, and renting again the next day was a breeze. Prices were fair, and the level of service, even on a hectic weekend, was seriously impressive.
