Dear Carrefour TALA MALL.
I am writing to express my disappointment following a very unpleasant experience during my visit today to your Carrefour branch at Tala Mall on 21 April at 11:30 PM.
I approached the fish section and requested two fish to be cleaned. The staff member named Latif informed me that I should return after one hour to collect them, which was surprising and unacceptable given the simplicity of the request.
I reported the issue to the Duty Manager, who then took me to a Supervisor. The Supervisor accompanied me to the fish section to understand the problem. However, while passing by the cashier area, I encountered another issue. A cashier named Mohammad spoke to me rudely and unprofessionally, insisting I go through a different route, despite my explanation that I was with the supervisor addressing a concern. His tone and behavior were completely inappropriate, especially since I was not interacting with him for any service.
To make matters worse, the Supervisor was unable to resolve the issue and mentioned they were short on manpower. He also made no effort to address the cashier’s rude behavior.
Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I expected a much higher standard of service and customer care from Carrefour.

Read moreI visited this store on Thursday 14th September 2023 around 4:45 p.m. after spending some time picking up my usual grocery I reached the cashier to pay. I requested to deduct from my credit in my club card. The cashier tried to scan my club card from my phone, however every time the cashier tried she tells me that it is not working, however, my my club card in my phone shows that my credit is gone. The manager of the store at the time has been called. The manager told me that I have to pay and after the payment is done he will give me back the credit amount that was in my my club card in cash. I personally asked the manager if this is true I will do the payment if he is not sure I will not pay and leave. After paying it was obvious that the manager can not fulfil his promise. It was really a waist of my time since I spent around 20 minutes for the customer service to get me back my money. I thought I was shopping in a decent store that respects the customer and puts him first. When you go to a cashier to pay for what you bought there and your bill is no more than 150 riyals but he spends good 5 to 7 mins just taking every 10 riyal you gave and looks at you in a suspicious way just cause you are a foreign person is not acceptable in any kind of situations and what made it worse is that the "inspector"who I thought is just working as a cashier found a 10 riyal bill that is slightly old cause you know money bills do get old they refused to take it from me and they caused a problem about that they called the manager which was very rude as well.
