Title: Shop, Dine, and Explore: A Day at Riyadh Gallery Mall
Rating: ★★★★☆
During my recent visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I had the opportunity to explore the Riyadh Gallery Mall, and it proved to be a diverse and entertaining destination for both shopping and leisure.
Shopping (★★★★☆): Riyadh Gallery Mall offers an extensive selection of stores, from high-end boutiques to popular international brands. Shoppers can find a wide range of products, from fashion and accessories to electronics and home goods. The mall is clean, well-lit, and easy to navigate, providing an enjoyable shopping experience. While it offers a great variety, some may find that the high-end stores dominate, making it a bit less budget-friendly.
Dining (★★★★☆): The mall has a vibrant food court and numerous dining options scattered throughout. Whether you're in the mood for local Saudi cuisine or international fast food, you'll find something to satisfy your palate. The food court's diverse offerings were impressive, though it can get quite crowded during peak hours.
Entertainment (★★★☆☆): Riyadh Gallery Mall includes an indoor amusement park, which is a great attraction for families with children. However, I found that the park could benefit from more rides and activities to cater to a wider age range. Additionally, it can get quite noisy and crowded, making it less appealing for those seeking a quieter shopping experience.
Ambiance (★★★★☆): The mall's interior is clean, well-maintained, and features appealing architecture and interior design. The lighting and spacious walkways create an inviting atmosphere for shoppers.
Accessibility (★★★★★): The mall is easily accessible, with ample parking and good transportation links. It's well-connected to the city, making it convenient for visitors.
Overall, Riyadh Gallery Mall offers a diverse shopping experience with a wide variety of stores and dining options. While it caters to different tastes and budgets, it particularly shines for those looking for upscale shopping. Families with children will also appreciate the amusement park. However, the mall can get crowded during busy hours, so it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly. If you're in Riyadh and enjoy shopping and dining, Riyadh Gallery Mall is definitely...
Read moreDear Riyadh Gallery Management,
I am writing to report an incident that occurred today during my visit to the BluAge store in your mall. I am a Filipina based in Dubai for 20 years, and I visit Riyadh for two weeks every month on business. I often come to Riyadh Gallery and have generally had good experiences, but this situation was different.
Today was my first time visiting the BluAge store. While I was shopping, the staff locked the store for what I assume was a prayer time or lunch break. However, they did this without checking if there were any customers still inside, and I ended up being locked in. This was surprising to me because, in other shops, the staff always make sure no one is inside before they lock up—they even go around to check. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here, and I had to rely on someone from a nearby coffee shop who noticed and called the staff to let me out.
When the staff member, who is also Filipina, finally came, she was rude and told me to leave and come back after 10 minutes because she was still having her lunch. There was no apology, and she treated me with disrespect. It seemed she assumed I was a Filipina domestic helper on my day off, likely because it was the weekend and I had come casually dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, not in business attire. This was extremely insulting. As I left, I saw her laughing with a male colleague, which was humiliating.
This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management of the stores within Riyadh Gallery. It’s important that all stores in your mall treat customers with respect and ensure no one is left inside when closing.
I ask that you address this issue to prevent it from happening again. Riyadh Gallery should maintain high standards of customer service, and this experience was far from that.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to hearing how you plan to address this issue.
Thank you for...
