One of the most beautiful temples of Batu Pahat, Si Hai Long Wang Temple is conveniently located just 2 km from the city centre. Its location beside Batu Pahat River makes it a picturesque temple. There is a sense of serenity as you walk on the temple grounds and look towards the river and its surroundings. I even managed to spot a white-looking crocodile on the riverbank. This is not a typical Chinese temple as there are many deities under its roof. The deities, in many forms, such as White Crocodile, Laughing Buddha and Toad King were colourfully painted. The main highlight of this temple is the God of Love & Marriage. Besides health and wealth, devotees come here to seek for love and hope of finding a partner and getting married. There is a convenience store and restroom inside the temple which make a good resting spot.

First time visiting temples in Batu Pahat and I am glad we are fated to visit this one. Once I got out of my car, I feel at peace with myself although the happenings this morning was making me “boil” inside. A quick walk around the temple revealed very friendly helpers at the temple. Got ourselves the incense and paper offering and started prayers at every deities’ urn. Will definitely come back again the next time we are in BP, even just to take couple steps back to be calm

A picturesque place to visit and take photos. The temple is expanding and is asking visitors to make donations. There are a number of deties in the temple and we made offerings to all of them. The temple is by the sea and you can have a good sea view. There is a 月老，also known as the cupid who tie up a couple fate to meet. Amble parking is available outside the temple. There are some people making praying when we were there.

If you at Batu Pahat, then worth it to visit. Visited during weekday and crowded...I guess because this place become famous as MUST visit spot. Upgrading in progress and a bit commercial (many type of donations and product)-of course is by willingness.(just my personal feeling, no offen pls). Many 打卡spot and heard that the “月老” 很灵。😅

I believe this is one of the must go attraction when you are in Batu Pahat. The temple is slightly bigger than what I expected with a lot of statues inside, which include of 土地公 月老 etc Locals come here praying for wealth, health, happiness and others lo. Tourists can come over to experience something different and take some photos
