I feel incredibly fortunate to have visited the Sri Arulmigu Murugan Temple, a place that has left an indelible mark on my heart and soul. From the moment I stepped onto its sacred grounds, I was enveloped by a profound sense of peace and serenity.

The Sri Arulmigu Murugan Temple stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions it represents. Its architectural grandeur and meticulous craftsmanship evoke a sense of awe and reverence. The intricate details and vibrant colors adorning the temple's façade are a feast for the eyes, embodying the devotion and skill of those who brought this magnificent place of worship to life.

Upon entering the temple, I was greeted by the melodious chants and the fragrance of incense, heightening the atmosphere of sacredness. The temple's inner sanctum, dedicated to Lord Murugan, exudes an aura of divine energy that is palpable. The shrine is adorned with intricate carvings and beautiful idols, each conveying a unique aspect of the deity's grace and power.

The temple's priests, with their deep knowledge and devotion, guide devotees on their spiritual journey. They graciously answered my questions, shared insights into the significance of rituals, and offered words of wisdom. Their kindness and patience made me feel welcome and encouraged a profound connection to the divine.

The Sri Arulmigu Murugan Temple is not only a place of worship but also a hub of community and cultural gatherings. It fosters a sense of belonging and unity among devotees, who come from diverse backgrounds, embracing the values of love, compassion, and respect. The temple organizes various events and celebrations, showcasing the rich tapestry of traditions and encouraging community participation.

I am grateful for the opportunity to witness and partake in the temple's rituals and ceremonies. They have deepened my understanding of the profound spiritual teachings and traditions associated with Lord Murugan. The experience of offering prayers, participating in bhajans, and witnessing the arati ceremony filled my heart with a sense of gratitude and humility.

Beyond its religious significance, the Sri Arulmigu Murugan Temple serves as a haven for introspection and inner peace. It offers a respite from the demands of daily life, allowing visitors to find solace, solace, and connect with their inner selves. The beautifully maintained gardens and peaceful ambiance create an ideal environment for meditation and contemplation.

I extend my deepest appreciation to the temple's staff and volunteers, who tirelessly work to ensure the smooth functioning of this sacred place. Their dedication and commitment are commendable, and they contribute greatly to the spiritual nourishment of all who visit.

In conclusion, the Sri Arulmigu Murugan Temple is a place of profound spiritual significance and cultural heritage. It offers a sanctuary where devotees can seek solace, find inspiration, and deepen their connection with the divine. My visit to this temple has left an indelible impression, and I am thankful for the peace, serenity, and spiritual enrichment it has bestowed upon me.

What has happened to this lovely temple that I used to visit during my childhood days?

We went yesterday, on Deepavali morning and there was a long queue to enter the temple. There were mothers with infants and elderly in the queue. When we approached the staff if they could have another line for elderly and mothers with infants, they said no and to join the regular queue.

The carpark and roads were filled with people walking dangerously slowing down traffic and a few of them nearly got knocked down while crossing the road. There were no proper barricades to control the crowds. Why didn’t the management deploy Cisco or at least put up safety barricades to manage the crowd situation?

I was there again today for Sashti. A temple member came up to us and said “You cannot sit here. You must sit there.” “You cannot do this.” “You cannot do that.” I was interrupted while in the midst of reading my prayers. They have their own useless rules and regulations but the management at this temple had absolutely no regards for road safety for the patrons and empathy for mothers with infants and elderly.

One cannot even come here and pray in peace with such nonsensical interruptions. Explains why the priests also look solemn and lack of energy with lots of...

Established in 1993 and consecrated in 2004, the Arulmigu Murugan Temple is the only Hindu temple in the Jurong area. The temple was built through community efforts whereby the Hindu community raised S$4 million towards its construction. At its consecration, the temple drew more than 15,000 devotees.

The temple’s main tower is built in the Dravidian style by temple craftsmen from India. The temple has a six-foot statue is dedicated to their presiding deity, Lord Murugan. It is also the only Hindu temple in Singapore to feature a yagasalai, a permanent fixture for prayers involving the use of fire. The Arulmigu Murugan Temple also conducts religious classes for hymn recitals.

Today, the Arulmigu Murugan Temple services around 1000 worshippers each day and up to 3000 on weekends. Most devotees are Hindus from the Jurong, Yuhua, Teban, and Boon Lay areas, while there are also non-Hindu Chinese...

Namaskaram.Temple was very beautiful but I think the management should oversee the temple operation well.I did 10 Archanai for 3 of my relatives but I don't understand I got 10 packet raisins and only 1 packet vibuthi and kumkum.i have to ask for another packet kumkum and the priest face was not so pleased.i don't understand If Archanai for 10 lord ,all should be given as 10 right?I did 3 archanai for Goddess Amman,at least should give accordingly so that I can pass to the person who ask me to do the archanai.I came to temple to pray for my sick mum who is not very good in health.kindly I request pls advise the main iyer(i guess)if im not wrong cos i saw he the one instructing other iyers to be humble and kind when serving the devotees. We come temple to pray and not to see this kind of attitude of a iyer.Very bad experience for the last aadi velli.Total disappointed upon seeing iyer attitude.
