Last visit was 2 years ago. Went there yesterday with my 3yo and he enjoyed himself. Took the last slot at 5pm and there were less than 10 people there which was great for us! ATTRACTIONS: 1. Ice Carvings (New) Greeted by life sized race car where LO can stand in it. Took photo with the bear with ice popsicles and a chef with sad looking lobster. 2. Ice Carved Train slide (New) Colourful train with mini slide wide enough for tots. Need to use a sled. 3. Ice carved mini Castle slide (New) A short slide. Wide enough for adults so may be dangerous for tots. Need to use a sled. 4. Ice carved slide (New) This is the main attraction. Long winding slide for 7yo and above. Took over the slopey area where sledding on floats happened previously. 5. Bumper car No waiting needed to take the bumper car ride. Bumper car were mildly malfunctioned and difficult to control. My LO was below 120cm so needed to be parent accompanied. However, seat belt was not long enough to accommodate both of us. Luckily for us, there were only 4 bumper cars operating at the same time so chances of bumping was minimal. LO did enjoy it nonetheless. 6. Mini golf course I'm guessing it's less than a metre long. Plastic golf club and balls were provided for tots to play. 7. Snow ball throwing The snow were mostly compacted so need to bring own tools to scrap the snow. 8. Mini Maze Mini short maze for tots who my 3yo had fun looking for us. The above sums all the attractions. Bought the photos taken by the photographers since photo-taking is disallowed. $100 for a snow globe with 2 photos + a photo sleeves with 2 photos + all digital copies (x42). Bought a giant dinosaur puzzle from the gift store at $29.90. We opened it with excitement but the entire puzzle was covered with mould (photos only showed a portion of it and post-sanitising wipe down which I know it's not gonna help). Sadly we need to throw this out before the mould spreads. This might be the last time we will be there unless they upgrade the facilities or we need a cold place to escape the weather. Place is indeed a little run down and quality of air is not great.

Take note I do hate the cold so do take it with a grain of salt. It's underwhelming to say the least the actual "snow" section was a maybe 10x3 meter room with "snow" only covering about 60-70% of the floor at a time with only a few centimeters of thickness at best. Most of the area is taken up by the slope which contrary to lots of the photos you are not allowed to hang out on. To get on there, there is a single lane slide you can ride down with a long wait as pictured. The second story is entirely taken up by the bummer cars and the paint ball arena both with long waits. Nither of these do anything particularly interesting with the fact that they are in sub zero temperatures, the bummer cars are just regular off the shelf number cars for 2 for crying out loud. Could have used that space for something that can only happen in a freezing environment like idk an ice rink? What about a seating area? Or maybe just maybe this place's name sake SNOW. This only leaves one section left, the photo taking areas. These sections take up the remaining area and are cordened off (presumably because only the company photographer is allowed to take pictures.) Speaking of which they charge $25 for 2 photos. So much of this wonderful marvel of modern engineering is to my eyes, wasted on installing activities that are better done in non sub zero environments. The photo taking area alone much larger than the actual snow section. Conclusion If you like being in sub zero temperatures, I recommend finding your local restaurant whose owner you are friendly with and chill in the walk-in freezer cause at least you can bring a chair to sit down in there. Maybe a router too of your gona be in there awhile and want to use the internet. If you like/want to be experience snow, I guess this is your only option? Though it's nowhere near the real thing other than it's granulated ice and it would suck when it inevitably gets in your shirt, but ice granules half the size of rice being passed off as snow ain't it.

I’ve sent Snow City an email and also posted on their Facebook page and I’ve yet to get a response: It’s about our disappointing experience at Snow City where we spent almost half of our hour long slot queuing up for the Bumper Car ride. We had booked the 4-5pm slot on a Friday and started queuing for the Bumper Car at 4.35pm. The queue hardly moved and even at 5pm, the queue looked like it would take another hour to clear. In the end we decided to give up on queuing, much to the disappointment of my 4-year-old son who was rather impatiently queuing with us too. It seems somewhat ridiculous that the bumper car queue would take so long especially since everything should have limited capacity tickets now (obviously the bumper car ride didn’t, in which case I’m suggesting it should). There was also a lack of safe distancing management in the queue. I’ve attached a picture showing the queue still ahead of us AFTER half an hour of queuing, and at the end of our hour long slot. My husband approached the counter staff asking if we could get a partial refund for the bumper car tickets and we were given the email address to contact, so it is disappointing that despite my efforts to write the feedback email, there has been no response. The counter staff did mention that we could come back another day to enjoy the bumper ride tickets. Now, tell me, does it make any sense that we would want to spend another sum (on the entrance fee) to enter this place again? I was going to give the attraction 3 stars because the place was really a lot smaller than I expected and it was nowhere as exciting as what the different “influencers” and websites have touted it to be. The music at the venue was also too loud and not at all child-friendly. Made my already impatient 4-year-old more angsty than he already was (“It’s too loud!”). However, for the lack of any response from their management regarding my feedback, I’m giving my first ever 1-star review.

Generally, I guess our visit is alright. Here is my detailed review on the place.

Location- Snow City is far from the usual attractions. I recommend taking the MRT and using google map for directions. We stopped at Chinese Gardens station and walked around 900meters-1km to the place. You may take a cab or bus, whichever is more convenient for you.

Opening Time-10:00am is the opening time. We arrived around 8:30am. They allowed us to enter even if the operations has not yet commenced.

Tickets-we purchased our tickets via Klook. Take note that upon booking your tickets in whatever site, make sure to click the official site of snow city for the reservation of your time slot.

Clothing-the area is below 10° so make sure to have with you thick clothes to combat the temperature. If you are not able to bring any clothes suitable for the activity, they have insulated pants and gloves for rent. You may purchase socks if needed. The tickets include jackets and shoes which will be returned.

Bags & Stuff-you are not allowed to bring any bag inside the ice area which is why they have lockers you can rent at 2SGD per locker. Be careful though in using the locker. It is computer operated which is why it is important to follow the instructions on how to open or close the locker. Also, do not forget the password for every locker you will rent. Prepare 2SGD coins only (it does not accept paper bills and does not give any change). What if you dont have coins? You may exhange paper bills at the shoe counter. What if you accidentally closed the locker without putting your stuff inside? Seek assitance from the staff. They are approachable.

Picture Taking-sorry but THEY DO NOT ALLOW PHONES OR CAMERAS INSIDE THE ICE AREA. They have a photographer inside who will take your pictures. Upon exiting the area, you may or may not purchase pictures they have taken. They have packages and payment depends on the package you have chosen. After paying, they will send all photos to your email.

Souvenir-they have a little souvenir shop which is a bit pricey

Staff-approachable and easy to talk to, they are fluent in English.

Restaurant-they have their own resto inside the building which is a bit pricey as well

Vending Machines-they have vending machines inside for whatever drink or snack you would want to nibble on while waiting for your time in the lounge area

Ice area-do not expect a spacious ice area. Upon entering, you have the ice bar, followed by the mini slide area where you will take your first picture. Next, would be the little ice village where the slide for adults is located. Lastly, you have the shooting area and bump car area.

Me and my family did not fully consume the 1 hour ice play because it was really cold. But if you are like me, deprived of snow because of having only 2 seasons in the country, then this place is great. I, personally do not how snow looks and feels like, so in my entire review, I used...

Worst trip ever, thanks for ruining our day. We booked online for the time slot of 5-6 pm Sat, 2 tickets with bummer car. Arrived about 10-15 mins early and was shocked that we still need to queue before going in, and the queue was really long. By the time is our turn, it was already 5.15 pm. We were told that there would be a waiting time of 45 mins for bummer car and was recommended to exchange our bummer car playing time with either a mini soft toy, gloves or pants. How could the waiting time be 45 mins when you give a 1 hr timeslot??? Was there no pax limit per 1 hr slot??? We were informed that they will close the area at 6 pm.

After settling our payment, we needed to collect our gloves, boots, jackets and pants. There was no direction signs erected anywhere or staff to usher and guide us where to get our attire and we had to ask around with many people rushing about and not knowing what to do. Tension was high in the area as everyone was only concern that their play time was now restricted to less than 1 hr. Jacket sleeve was too small, locker require $2 coins horrible.. btw still needed to queue for your attire at each section -.-

I read from the website that phone is not allowed in the area but many ppls still brought their phone along and no staff bothered checking. We were too gullible to strictly follow all their rules at our own expenses.

The area is v small, dirty black ice and overloaded with people queuing up for bummer car and slides. By the time we were inside was about 5.40 pm. Again, no clear direction where to queue for slides and bummer car. We managed to take the slide once, and to our horror upon reaching the bottom of the slide, the staff told us that we were unable to play for another round as they had already closed the queue. Mind you, it was still not yet 6 pm.

We are suspecting that the management did not strictly follow the allocated slots and get those ppls from the previous timeslot out that's why there were lots of ppls in the area. You either don't restrict the time (1 hr play time), or strictly boot ppls whose play time are up out of the area. You can't be expecting ppls to queue outside when they have already bought their tickets online, queue for their attire, fight with ppls from the previous time slot to play the slide and bummer car when there's only 1 hr of play time. Poorly managed site with staff not caring and attending to confused customers. We have wasted our time to travel here and money to go for the attraction, will nvr visit this place again until the management do some serious self reflection and make some major overhaul. At this rate, you won't last long..

P.S. LMAO your photo is going at a rate of $25 per pc or "promo rate" of $50 for 3 pcs + softcopy. Daylight...

One of the worst experience ever in a local attraction - paid $76 for 2 adults n 2 kids to visit snow city on a friday during the march school holidays unfortunately the entire place was just over-crowded Disorganised pre-entry area (where you get the boots, gloves waterproof pants etc) with little seats, you have everyone going everywhere and people trying to get some space to prep themselves and their kids, and i saw a lady looking for her missing shoes. Just a very uncomfortable, busy and tense area to be in. i got a pair of wet boots that made my socks soggy (argh a HUGE turn off), i m not sure how much of these boots and apparrels are really cleaned (but to be fair i managed to change to a dry pair but my socks... ewww). I saw a tent outside the entry area were all jackets are supposedly clean with a machine.. but i honestly have my doubts. crowded locker area with broken down old lockers (i saw a parent so frustrated with the lockers he raised his voice and punched it) we finally made it into the attraction and to my horror, the place is tiny, over crowded, badly maintained, grey "snow". There was just a small play area that my kids just spend 5 mins... Long queue for slide (30mins wait) and bumper car (almost 2 hours wait!!) We queued with crying, tired kids in the queue (really salute the parents for their determination and the strength to carry their little ones throughout the wait). Saw a few families who gave up their tickets to other parents (and sadly for snowcity, people didnt want them either...) we timed the bumper car prep and play time. Almost 12 to 15 min prep time for every 5 mins game time. I hear parents trying to dessuade their kids from playing bumper car, "why not lets go for a nice lunch etc etc)" The bumper car staff 'disappear' during the game (cos the controls of the bumper car is outside the building) n the cars stopped working without staff knowing leaving people wondering what to do. My girl's car didnt work and was circling for a min before it stopped totally. I heard a commotion happened after i decided to wait for my family outside... and yea, i m not surprised. the place is just badly managed (with some staff who didnt quite care). The place felt really tensed and oppressive and i actually felt relieved after stepping out of the place. Its disappointing that my first ever trip to snow city (i was genuinely excited) is also my last... my kids felt the same and i am sure many...
