We come as a family annually for CNY. 15 pots is about the average number of plants we buy after 2 hours of frustrating ourself which to give up due to space constraint.

Most plants are under $10 for the non flowering small size. Gorgeous flowering plants average $25 and the price increases with height and Bush size. You can even cash and carry plants over 2m tall such as the CNY tangerines should you insist.

If you stay in the east, far east flora and heartland mall should be enough to satisfy. However they lack the sheer variety you will see here. If you are a hardcore gardener, visit the area. There is a whole community in this area that supports with seeds, soil, and friendly advice.

Service is very good, all the workers speak decent English to tell you if the plants need sunlight, water, shade, or special nutrients. They can even advise if the flower is all year round or seasonal. If the pot is heavy they will load it onto a trolley for you with a smile.

Parking can be challenging during the weekend, but I never had trouble finding a slot within 15 mins of waiting. Usually the workers will usher you to a temporary slot should the parking be full. Indeed very...

Well, I am happy that I bought my first plant ever — rosemary $8, soil (varies from $2.50 onwards) and small box fertiliser ($2.50). Hopefully it will grow and grow :)

There are plants that ain’t so nice then don’t buy. I chose my own plant and I am happy with that.
