Thirsty River Brewing — Attraction in Bovec

I felt scammed. We made a reservation for 2 nights at this place through Booking. Due to the rains, there was a rockslide that blocked access to the hotel. I communicated with the hotel since the morning indicating that we would go by public transportation and they did not mention anything about this situation. The bus left us in a village before Bovec, where this hotel is located and I contacted the accommodation to ask them for a solution because it was impossible to access their hotel. It was 8pm and we were in an unknown place, at 4 degrees, in the street, without accommodation. The hotel never responded, they left us stranded without an answer. The next day they responded that we could ask to any car on the road to take us somehow, which is extremely risky and practically impossible because it is not a town with a lot of traffic. We got sick and had a strong complication with our health because of the cold and being in the street with no place to go, we were with fever all night. We told the hotel what happened and asked them to please refund the money for the reservation that for reasons of a natural disaster, force majeure, we could not access, no one could access to it and the hotel treated us very badly and refused to refund the money. They kept our money for the 2 nights, they treated us very badly and even Booking asked them to refund us and they refused, they kept the money paid for a service they never provided and for reasons of force majeure. There are news, videos and photos of what happened due to the rockslide but they were not interested, they only wanted to keep other people's money. I do not recommend this place at all, I recommend you to be very careful because the attitude and the minimum of humanity that is expected from these people is absolutely disappointing.
