Akvarij-terarij Maribor — Attraction in Maribor

This aquarium/museum/terrarium must be closed as soon as possible. After today’s visit and after seeing all the feedback from all these other people; this definetly is not a good way to spend your money or going to teach your child about animals.

This space is unsanitary for both people that enter the door and all the living animals.

I was shocked that at the end of tour while looking at the Stick Insects, I draw closely to the terrarium and wanted to touch the glass and shockingly I touched a Stick Insect itself because some of the baby insects got out and were just staying on the other side of the glass.

I will end this feedback by just asking people to not give their 5$ per person to perpetuate this horror show.

3 stars only because nothing changed in the last 20 years.

Otherwise, it is a huge disappointment that municipality is doing NOTHING with this place for all these years. The place is still in the same bad shape as it was 20 years ago when I was there last time.

There is really a big potential for this place and always was and would be nice to see it modernised instead of listening all the time of money shortage. While you can see that mayor stuffing money in stupid "upgrades" of city that are just good for his own interest, not so...

A small but fun aquarium / terrarium. It takes you only 30 to 40 minutes to see everything but I think it's still worth the 5 euro entrance fee. You get to see a wide variety of fish, snakes, lizards, and turtles. However, it would have been nice if they had provided more information.
