Worst Wine Tasting experience EVER!! The staff are so unorganised and not efficiently able to assist guest upon arrival.

My husband and I were hosted by a waitress that had no experience with wine pouring or etiquette. The lack of knowledge and service was absolutely pathetic.

We were served all of our options (champagne, white and red wine) all in the same glass, which hinders the taste of the next selection. When we asked the waitress as to why our glasses were not being changed for each selection, she said “due to the amount of guests that have arrived for the wine tasting, there aren’t enough glasses to change for each wine/champagne, also not many guests that arrive to our tastings are picky about having their glasses changed.” (Meanwhile behind us was a wall full of glasses) We suggested that she at least rinsed them before each tasting, she then brings the glasses back rinsed, however completely soaked and didn’t have the decency to wipe them down. Has no clue how to open a bottle of wine, was completely battling the cork broke in the bottle. When we asked questions regarding the white wine selection, she spoke of the red wine. This shows that there was no service training involved. When asked she replied “when I pour different wines into the same glass it doesn’t taste any different to me”.

This is by far the most horrible experience.

Will never recommend the wine...

....we choose to come to this very elegant restaurant situated on the Durbanville Wine Route to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday! This restaurant is very big and yet one can enjoy your privacii! You have the choice of sitting outside where there is a lake around the porch or inside where they have a love-lii fire place that keeps the place at a good warm temperature and makes it easier to have a good time instead of shivering and that's the place we had our seating inside because it was still winter! They have a great selection of starters, mains and desserts! Our starters were:- the Baked Camembert and the Guinea fowl with caramelized figs and jam! This was unusual and incredibly delicious! For mains we had:- Springbok in a coffee gravii with fresh veg, the sirloin and chips and the special chefs gourmet burger & chips.....the springbok stew was intriguing and insidious-lii delicious! The dessert order was also very adventures:- Fresh strawberries served with a cream-ii white moose and we also tried the Baked fruit & nut crumble...... love-lii wine of distinction and cock-tails are also served here! Staff and management are pleasant, helpful an very friend-lii................it turned out to be an a true-lii enjoyable and memorable birthday celebration! We will be back in the future and recommend this restaurant to all to...

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Ntida recently. Despite booking for a party of six, the visit was marred by several significant issues that completely ruined the atmosphere.

When we arrived, a table of 16 from a Christmas party was leaving—not because their event had ended, but because of the loud and disruptive drilling from nearby construction. The noise was unbearable and clearly unfit for a dining experience.

Adding insult to injury, the front-of-house staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills. When I expressed my concerns, I was rudely told: "You either accept what I'm saying or you leave." Such dismissive and unempathetic behavior is unacceptable, especially towards paying customers who simply want a pleasant experience.

This combination of noise, disruption, and rude service made for an incredibly unpleasant experience all around. I cannot recommend Ntida to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional venue. It was deeply...

Having not done a tasting at Nitida before, I was excited to visit and see what they have to offer. The estate is quite large, with two restaurants, the tasting center, and more on the premises. We headed straight to the wine tasting center. The tasting center is small with the inside area having limited space, but they also have some seating options outside. Their wines include Bruts, Whites and Reds, with their "The Matriach (MCC)" being a particular stand-out. Something that was impressive for me was their kids sensory tasting, which include some juices, a make your own milkshake and some snacks. This ensured my daughter enjoyed herself and felt part of the tasting while my wife and I sipped on the tasty wine. Definitely recommend this for parents with young kids. On-top of everything the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a fun time and definitely recommend a visit.

Outstanding!! Whilst this farm may not have the views and reputation of other more pretentious ones in the area, it offers impeccable service! One sits in an area with an interesting natural rock wall surrounded by wine kegs. It gives the impression of being in a cellar. The knowledge of the woman who served us and the detail into which she went to describe the wines was both insightful and impressive. Unlike our experience at other farms, we left feeling educated and well looked after. We bought some wine here and it is award winning wine! My only bugbear - I would have liked something to snack on with the wine. It’s a minor thing though and it did not detract from the overall excellent service and delicious wines.

We had lunch at the Bestro/deli...there was a variety of light meals to choose from meat, chicken , fish as well as veg options...the food was good as can be seen in the pics...had the tacos salad option & partner had the Korean chicken...setting is lovely & there's a kids play area with indoor & outdoor seating area...the service was friendly...the only issue was the state of the toilets...they are in a bar state & need to be revamped...the toilet did not flush & the handle was brocken so improve the bathrooms & it will be a perfect Bestro...
