The Ridge Casino — Attraction in Emalahleni Local Municipality

The Ridge Casino and Hotel, is a little Gem located just off the N12 highway in a small town, Witbank. This place is a great break away from the hustle and bustle of a Johannesburg, with a drive of only a hour and 20 minutes. The casino is not massive nor small, it seems to be the ‘right size’ for the venue/resort. The resort has everything one needs on one site, a mall with various restaurants etc. The rooms in the hotel are average, nothing spectacular but very comfortable. My only suggestion (and the reason for the point deduction), is when a couple is booked into a hotel room, there is only 1 towel in the bathroom, there is only 2 pillows on the bed (if you like me and used to 2 pillows per person on the bed, then you will battle with this). The room is almost catered for a single person (1 mug, 1 bottle of water and a kettle - no coffee, tea or sugar is supplied). I understand that we are still in Level 1 lockdown but little things are over looked that could make life just that little bit more comfortable for the guest.

Other than this, the resort is the perfect get away for anyone looking to escape the hustle and...

I wish I was able to score this fairly, but the Ridge hotel didn't afford me the opportunity to do so. Me and three guests, of which two were from Europe, had confirmed bookings upon arrival at the Ridge hotel. Only to find out that they opted to cancel our bookings due to them being overbooked. They did inform us they contacted our travel agent, and were unable to get information regarding the booking before canceling these. This, for me, was impossible to believe, as they are globally responsible for our company travel arrangements, and this has never happened before. They then transferred us to an overflow option, a budget option, which didn't create a great impression for our international traveller's. We booked a 4-star experience and was forced to settle for a 2-star experience. They did offer a generous dinner voucher for the four of us, with some "gentle" persuasion. I'm so sorry. There are no photos to add as The Ridge decided we can't enjoy a 4-star...

Friendly staff with good customer service. I enjoy visiting The Ridge Casino. If you have problems or queries make use of their online help desk, telephonically or The help Desk on site of The Ridge. Within minutes your problem will be solved to the best of their abilities.. Only enjoyed like 90% of my evening. As the crowds were very outraged, LOUD, to spite the lady dealing at the poker tables. A group of Boys. (18-20) Were yelling at top volume everytime the lady handed out the cards..

And drunk Ladies arguing screaming cursing and just making my stay uncomfortable as the think,they own the show.. And tryin to be in a Demanding Position.. Its not very pleasant, if im ONLY surrounded by above mentioned scenarios..

But still enjoyed my stay, service ( waiters and Attendance) was a 4 out of 5..
