Marks Park Sports Club — Attraction in Johannesburg Ward 88

Very depends, Now compare to 3 years ago. If you see my review for sports clubs, from years ago many I rated 5* Wits and mostly loved RANDBURG GDL CLUB AS ORLANDO PIRATES AT SAME PROPERTY. Randburg sports club still is one of the best soccer clubs in JNB, BUT WITS SPORTS CLUB ON JUDITH ROAD EMMARENTIA HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED. I have 2 Sons at withs (marks parks) currently playing for the club. My eldest son is a goal keeper and he has always been as begins at age of 5 years at wits mark sparks, he were proposed to play for Randburg sports club and left marks parks 3 years ago. He Had returned back this year to wits as he was dropped from GDL AS PER ONE OF OUR FAMILY MEMBER COULD NOT CONTROL HIS BEHAVIOR AT ONE OF THE MATCHES, it was embarrassing, not going to lie. After the decision my son to play ordinary A league U15 he was unhappy, and wanted to go back where he began. My review is based on my experience at the Totalsports Women’s Race 2025. I’m really impressed with how well this year’s event was organised, especially when it came to traffic control. Last year, there were a number of dodgy parking attendants outside the venue forcing us to park outside, even though there was plenty of space inside the sports club. Thankfully, this year was completely different and they were nowhere near the entrance (however when I left I saw them on Beyers Naude drive). During both race pack collection and on race day, there were people directing traffic and assisting with parking, which made a huge difference. Markspark is one of the most beautiful cricket clubs in Johannesburg. The green of the trees and grass is really something to behold, with one of the best drainage systems, it has a good feel and the environment is great for small children and the elderly. Markspark also has a bowling club that is very active, some national players call it home, the main cricket oval has a old-school bar and a cosy clubhouse. Markspark is a great place for family and friends and the ground staff are quite friendly.
