We took the Sky Capsule from Cheongsapo St since the Mipo was fully booked online about a week before the date. We booked the first slot on a Saturday. We were among the first to arrived, parking was easy and plenty available there at Cheongsapo. Parking is just opposite the train station. Rate was 8000k (as I can remember for the whole day) and mind you that the free 2hrs parking for blueline users are not entitled if you park here at Cheongsapo. Parking for the whole day is cheaper here rather than Mipo.

Riding sky capsule was on 1st floor. There's a waiting area for customers with plenty of souveniors to choose and buy there. Managed to secure the first capsule for a family of 5 ( one child under 6yo). Since the capsule was from Cheongsapo, we were at the side away from the sea but that was okay. We can still enjoy the scenery and it was beautiful. The ride was slow and took about 30mins to arrive at the other end. We can see that the capsule from the opposite side was empty for at least first 5 that past us.

It was really cold and windy during our visit. We booked the train all day at 11am from Mipo to the other end and stopped at each station then stop at Cheongsapo to end the day.

Overall it was an okay experience. I guess something that I would not repeat,...

Arguably one of the three main tourists highlights of Busan, the Haeundae Blueline Park has two main attractions - Capsule Trains and Beach Train. Both are covered under the Busan City Pass but it means you have to exchange for tickets onsite and cannot pre-book. Perhaps okay during off peak seasons, especially for the super popular Capsule Train but my advice is to pre-book.

The best views for the Capsule Trains is from Mipo Station to Cheongsapo Station. Do arrive 20 mins before scheduled departure. And head up to second floor after following the directions clearly displayed on the floor after the entrance to the station. Try to get there earlier and you get to seat down. Next is a waiting time to board the train of up to 30 mins!

The trains can be reserved for two or three or four persons. Cheaper when you have more in the train. Because the trains are small, my advice is go for two persons option (35000 won)

Whole journey including waiting time takes about one hour (actual train ride is 30 mins). Great views and very Instagrammable...

It was fun for the unique experience. The total ride time is approximately 30 minutes for the one way ride.

When you get your ticket you may have a longer than expected ride time, so we opted to take the ocean train out and the Sky Pods back. Done differently we would have given more time befor taking the sky pods back in order to explore a bit more.

We departed from MIPO station with the Ocean Train and took the sky capsule back from Cheongsapo. We got off at the Daritdol Skywalk - definitely worth going there an walking out on the glass floor over the cliffs and ocean way below. Walk back from Daritdol to Cheongsapo was very nice. Again take your time to explore.

Note: you need to like up for both the Ocean Train and Sky Capsules 20 Minutes prior to departure. Expect the tourist trap experience and grab an espresso, ice cream or snacks.

We took the Ocean Train with a scheduled departure about 1 hour after we got our tickets. Again expect to get some snacks, ice cream or a drink and...

The Busan Sky Capsule was such a cute and fun experience! The views of the ocean were just unreal — it felt like we were floating above the coast in a little colorful pod. Definitely book your tickets in advance because they sell out fast, especially for sunset times. And trust me, get to the station at least 30 minutes early. Not 10, not 15 — a full 30 mins. You’ll thank yourself later. We also took the Beach Train, which was just as beautiful. Sometimes you might not get a seat if it’s crowded, but honestly, even standing and looking out the window was worth it. At the station, there’s a little souvenir shop and even a photo booth area that’s fully stocked with props and a mirror so you can get ready! Me and my boyfriend took some time to style ourselves before snapping pictures, and it made the whole day feel extra special. Such a romantic and memorable part of our Busan trip — would 100% do it again!
