Without the special mermaid performance, it’s an average aquarium at best. Situated inside a Shinsegae shopping mall, nice parking lot and lots of foods to choose from, but the aquarium is average. Don’t go on a Monday. Perhaps I just missed it while booking a ticket, maybe lost in translation, but we will very disappointed. Read moreThe aquarium itself is ok, nothing spectacular, but it tries to be more than an aquarium with other animals as well. The toucans aren't in good condition with poor beak health as evidenced by chipping and poor feather quality. The rabbit / guinea pig area is quite smelly.
One of the more interesting exhibits was the spitting fish, for 1000won, you can purchase 4 mealworms to drop into suspended nets over the water. The fish will then shoot water into the net to make the worms fall into the water.
