Geoje Sea World — Attraction in Geoje-si

Visiting captive animals is always a mixed bag of the exhilaration of being close to nature's creatures, while knowing it comes at the expense of their captivity. That said this place is certified to meet care standards set by an aquatic mammal group in Europe and the animals do appear well cared for, although their tanks are not very big. It was a good experience and located at a very nice place. However, they have so little to watch here and from that perspective, they are overpriced. Nice shows with beluga whales and dolphins. The whales do their job but very little information in English so if you don't understand Korean you miss some of the show. Possibility to meet and or swim with dolphins. There is also a display of some frogs, snakes...
